2024.11.30 01:29 hoscomputer Anal bleeding and discomfort passing stool and peeing
For context I am 19 years old, on November 11, I came home from a trip to have anal bleeding. I felt no pain, but after 3 days, it stopped. I figured it may have been something I ate that caused it. Well, on November 18, it started again. On the 20th, I went to the ER. They did an anal swab, with no blood. They did a CT scan, with no results. They did bloodwork, and everything checked out. I was sent home to set an appointment with a general surgeon to see about a colonoscopy. On November 21, 1 noticed it hurt to poop, and I couldn't pee without pushing with my anal muscles. This pain and hurting went on till now. I have been taking nothing but laxatives and eating soft foods and prunes to help pass stool. Im also taking Epsom salt baths and warm baths to help with my pain. It was extremely painful to do anything that made me flex the anal muscles. Laughing, coughing, sneezing, etc. I finally had enough on November 25 when I went back to the ER because the bleeding was not stopping, and I was losing so much blood I was paler than my work khakis. My boss and family insisted I go. So I did. This visit, I explained what was going on and how I was looking so much blood I felt light-headed. I barely could walk straight, and I could only pee if I pushed my anal muscles. Her response was, "Why are you straining yourself?" Because I have a full bladder and need to pee but can't because of the pain. She then proceeded to stick her finger up my rectum and do 3 counterclockwise turns. It hurt like hell; I was crying after. Then she told me it was just hemorrhoids and I need to go to the general surgeon to see what they can do. And she told me to be on a liquid diet for the time being. The appointment for the doctor is on December 10th. And I have been doing nothing but soaking in scolding hot baths and using a heated blanket for pain relief. What can I do so I can at least get to work next week till the doctor's appointment on the 10th?????

This is my first post ever so bare with me.
After fostering for many years my husband and I adopted a sibling group from foster care. I will be the first to admit that I dove head first into this adoption with rose colored glasses. I was CLUELESS. I got caught up in the excitement and I cringe so hard thinking about all of the celebrating we did.
We naively listened to everything DHS said including no contact with bio family and changing the kids names "for their safety." 🤦 (There were domestic violence issues and even though the kids were excited and caught up with picking names at the time, it was completely unnecessary)
I have recently come out of the adoption fog. Once I started listening to adoptees I finally began to understand the damage we have done. I have realized that I don't agree with adoption and coming to terms with that is blowing my mind. I haven't shared most of my realizations bc it is so hard for me to explain it. I LOVE my children so much but them being ripped from their biological ties was notokay. Changing their names was not okay. Keeping them from knowing their family was not okay.
All of that to say, I know I can't change any of what I've already done. I know the number one step is to apologize to my children. But what next? It's been 6 years of no contact with bio family. They are local but not completely stable. (Current drug use and off and on homelessness) I would love adoptees perspectives on how I can change the future when I've completely screwed up the past.
I hope this makes sense and would love to hear other perspectives. I'm still learning. I am also starting counseling back next week to start working through all of this and my own junk.

Power came back, rebooted router multiple times. Tested on numerous devices. No internet. Go and check out the router: “weak fiber signal” displayed on the Bell router itself as a notice with red flashing light. Reboot again. Same scenario.
Head over to bell website to check outage “no outage in your area. Click this link to triage.” Clicks link. “Log into account”. Logs into account. Gives 9700 tips on restarting my router and devices.
Bell, your own hardware knows it’s a YOU problem. Why can’t I just “report” the outage without having to go to a third party service like “down dector.com”?
Fake news and sad corp loop hole.

need help to get data working on this ipad mini 4 cellular.
my mvno phone sim card works perfectly in my android LTE tablet for data use.
When i put the same sim card in my ipad, data does not work. says No Service.
However, the ipad About page detects the sim, the associated phone number /account info.
it's just that data won't connect. I even reset all network settings on the ipad.
whatever happened to apple "just works" ?
