Hi all! I've kind of let myself go for a long time and haven't bought foundation I liked since 2020, and I don't even know what to buy anymore. My holy grail was the NYX BB cream, but it's discontinued D:
I'm 33 with fair skin and a neutral/warm undertone (ginger hair), and my skin is mostly combo with oily T zone and dry cheeks. I also have large pores and some formulas tend to create a horrid textured look on my face. Any recommendations?

Mine is Bouchee Confections on Moana. The chocolate bonbon gift boxes come in 6, 12 & 24 pieces, and they are always well received as personal or professional gifts. Their chocolate is the best I've had in Reno. Perfectly tempered, smooth but with just the right crack when you bite into it and very creative flavors. I also like giving their gift certificates for high tea. It's a really lovely experience. (BTW, I don't work for them, I just appreciate a quality product).
I can't give sweets to everyone so looking for other ideas, preferably from locally-owned businesses. What's your favorite?

My boyfriend is abusive, but in subtle ways. He’s always acting hot-and-cold, giving me the silent treatment, going into a rage over nothing, and I honestly feel like I’m starting to go insane. I can’t stand it any longer. I do not enjoy spending time with him in the slightest.
The thing I struggle with is finding the right time to end it. I make a plan to do it when he’s giving me the cold shoulder, and then when I am about to do it he treats me normally again. I am a highly empathetic person so this is super difficult for me. I’ve been planning to do this since August, but I can never figure out the right time to follow through with it. Now Christmas is rolling around the corner and he has already spent a ton of money on gifts for me, so I feel guilty doing it now. Then in February, we have plane tickets and a hotel room booked for a vacation, which wasn’t cheap. I honestly don’t know what to do. I can’t keep dragging it out, but I can’t find the courage to do it either. How do I know when the time is right and how do I find the courage?
