I’ve searched for this answer and haven’t been able to find it. The Sonos devices/software confuse the heck out of me.
I have a record player with a standard preamp and I’m looking to connect to my Sonos Play One in a different room. It seems I need the Connect or Port (I don’t want to spend that much money). I’ve seen some used Connects on eBay and confused on if it’s the Connect S15, the connect 2nd gen S2, the connect amp etc. They all seem different. Any recommendations?

2024.11.30 02:30 iynorniy Aggressive Drivers, Road Rage, and Cyclists
So I was reading this story of a cyclist and game designer, about a road rage incidident they experienced this month in Montreal.
TL;DR: Driver and Cyclist have an argument about adequate distancing. Designer cycles by and tries to diffuse the incident, and the Driver physically assaults the Designer.
It really reminded me how bizarre it is we're allowed to just use cars, a.k.a heavy machinery, around pedestrians and cyclists. Particularly, with all the ridiculously aggressive driving going on in the city, and all the road rage. Don't get me wrong, there are quite a few cyclists pricks in Montreal (I sometimes am one those who ignores a stop sign, but I don't go blaming a car for taking their right of way). However, the number of times I have seen something that should be considered manslaughter with a car are too many to count.
Really, what is going on in this city and how are some of these people allowed to drive?

Alors, j’ai lu une histoire racontée par un cycliste pis game designer montrealais à propos d’un incident de rage au volant qu’y a vécu ce mois-ci. TL;DR : Y’a un char pis un cycliste qui s’obstinent sur le respect des distances. Le designer arrive en vélo, essaie de calmer le jeu, pis le chauffeur l’attaque physiquement.
Ça m’a vraiment fait penser à quel point c’est bizarre qu’on laisse les chars, tsé des machines lourdes, rouler proche des piétons pis des cyclistes. Surtout avec toute l’agressivité pis la rage au volant qu’on voit en ville. Pis là, me faites pas dire ce que j’ai pas dit : y’a des cyclistes bien fatigants à Montréal (j’suis des fois de ceux-là, genre quand je roule un stop, mais au moins, je blâme pas un char qui avait la priorité). Mais, sérieusement, le nombre de fois que j’ai vu des affaires qui devraient être considérées comme des tentatives de meurtre avec un char, c’est ben trop.
Tsé, qu’est-ce qui se passe pour vrai dans notre ville? Pis comment ça que ces personnes-là ont encore leur permis ?

Hello, everyone, how’s it going? On halo, fans are discussing how the entire storyline of Cortana was discarded, and even though many didn’t like it, they wanted the story to continue. So I thought, why didn’t 343i give a reason for her random villainy? As far as I remember, there were thousands of theories before the release of Infinite speculating that Cortana was either contaminated by the Flood, or being manipulated by the Warden Eternal, or even the Didact (I’m not even sure if that character is alive).
Imagine the following scene:
- As we go deeper into the ring, at one point, Cortana’s echoes gradually change from purple to green, and she starts repeating Gravemind’s lines, with both Cortana’s and Gravemind’s voices intertwining. At the same time, we hear her struggling against this plague… We would hear her screams of horror and groans of pain echoing (no images or scenes, just sounds). To make the scene more special, the original Flood soundtrack from Halo CE is played in the background, gradually increasing.
As far as I remember from the story of Halo Infinite, Cortana is just evil. And the script suggests that she is not the fragment, she is really the Cortana from the original games.

Alright I have a question for anyone that has run a setup with 4 monitors, so I'm currently running a 1440p monitor a 4k and a 1080p from my RX 7900 XT I have a LG ultrawide, specifically 2560X1080p that I wanted to tried to connect and see if I could run it, but it doesn't post unless I disconnect one of the other monitors, all of my other monitors are connected to the 3 Display ports on the GPU and the new 4th monitor to the HDMI (the only port left). It this even possible to run the 4th one ? just experimenting out of curiosity.

I encountered a bull elk and put two arrows into it. It fled, I then tracked it for about 20 minutes real life time, saw it once more and put a 3rd arrow into it. It fled. I followed it's tracked for another 25 minutes before I gave up because my hand got sore of spamming the directional arrows around trees. They were all very fresh tracks alternating with a few very fresh running tracks.
I tracked it between 20-30 overland tiles away, so however far that is.
What is the best way to maximize chances of catching back up with them? It didn't seem to get tired despite it fleeing for the better part of an in game day with 3 arrows embedded in it. Should you run as much as you can, catch your breath while walking, and run again over and over? Should you move with stealth? I tried both, and the run/walk/run method got me close enough to hear it two or three times.
I also frequently took more direct routes since since I could often see it's tracks in the snow from many tiles away. Especially since they take nonsensical paths that loop around a patch of trees and then off in a random direction quite frequently.
Any other tips for active hunts, besides those that require better gear than one may have such as broadhead arrows, better bow, dog, etc.
