As I understand it HJPEV posits the existence of a gene that determines magic. A wizard has a genotype of MM, a squib Mm, and a muggle mm. In this fic, squibs aren't nonmagic children of magic parents like in book canon. Wouldn't this mean, though, that there wouldn't be any *true* halfbloods, since a wizard and a muggle could only produce squibs (MM + mm -> Mm)? I don't know if there is any reference to a halfblood in the books, but under this theory as I understand it, they would probably be as rare as muggleborns if they could only come from a wizard and a squib who thinks they are a muggle. IDK if its inconsistent with HPMOR canon but it seems weird at the very least. Am I missing something?

 | I don't know if is because is newer case. It has nothing to do with the front glass panel panel. I'm talking bout the open side view. The 3500x setup just looks cleaner. The 4000d is smaller and everything look too close too cramped, and the 5000d everything looks more spaced apart. On the 3500x, the fans, mobo, GPU, etc everything seems the right distance from each other, not too close, not too spaced out. 2024.11.30 04:31 PrestigiousOne8281 A5 bolt issue
Got an A5 12 gauge (standard) that has an interesting issue: I removed the trigger assy to clean it and replace the springs, everything bolted right back up, BUT with the new spring, it’s super tight. When I slide the barrel back, I have to put almost all my weight on it, and when the bolt locks back, it stays there, even if I release the catch. I have to help it forward with a rubber mallet or my palm against the handle, almost like a Garand whereas beforehand it slammed forward every time. The ONLY thing that’s been changed is the springs, but I’d think having a new spring would make it easier to go forward and harder to go back, not hard both ways. Anyone have any ideas what to check? I lubed the hell out of everything already.

I engaged with a prominent online car sellebuyer platform to sell my Honda sedan. I received notifications regarding the quote via the platform app, accepted it, then received a contract document to e-sign, which I signed.
Now here’s where I’m wondering if my car’s been stolen. Once I signed the contract, the agent I’d been in touch with called and said that he needs to take the car to one of their garages to do a final quality check. Once that’s done, they’ll ask me to come to an RTA place, formally hand over the car (that will have completed inspection by them) and transfer payment. I agreed (may have been an idiot).
A recovery driver then came to my place with a truck, loaded my car onto it, and drove away. Now I’m paranoid because RTA seems to be closed over this long weekend.
Is this standard procedure? My car isn’t with me and has been taken away. Or have I been scammed? Or am I being paranoid and over thinking this?
I’ve sent emails and requests for callbacks to the platform between 8 PM yesterday to today (8 AM).
I can’t sleep. I’m a bit prone to bouts of paranoia; am a bit weird in the head.
