Hi guys, I am an IT and have worked here for more than 1 year. I got that 30k forgivable loan when I joined. I basically do not spend that money, it just lied in my bank account. If I quit now, besides giving this 30k back to UWM, do I also need to pay the interest generated from this 30k during this 1 year? I am kind of wandering how much is that number like a few hundreds? or 1k - 2k? Thanks!

2024.11.30 05:50 ReturnPositive1824 Some minor things left, but here’s my basement living room renovation before/after (story in description too)
 | So, I let a family move into my house for free that I’d known for a while and fell on hard times. They were super dysfunctional and I didn’t know until I was in too deep. They were getting divorced (which I had no idea) and had animals they neglected. The animals ended up peeing all over the carpet. It smelled awful for months, so I gave them 60 days to leave, and they flipped out. I got a temporary restraining order against the wife at one point. When they moved out, they rented a carpet cleaner, drenched it while they moved. By the time I could enter the carpet had mold, and smelled just as bad if not worse. The wife changed her phone number and email address so I couldn’t pursue damages. She also has started waiting for usps and stealing mail and packages from us, and grabbing her mail out of our box/never forwarded her mail. Had to buy a secure box. So, anyway, I wanted a revenge room so that I didn’t think about them when I go into that part of the house. Had to sand/pour new self level over the concrete because the foundation was fked too.  | Hi everyone! So once I did co-op with someone cosplaying as Jesus and it cracked me up, so I decided to do one myself for co-op! It is hilarious when people start making prayerful gestures to you haha So I copied the sliders from here. Weapon of choice was the Cross-Naginata, for obvious reasons. I asked the folks at PatchesEmporium to drop me a few more so I could use the same weapon with different AoW, so cheers to the awesome ER community! I found this setup to be pretty versatile and I can hit hard and provide good support for hosts. As you can see, I have quite a few defensive buffs and I’m relying mostly on 4 AoW and 2 incantations: Black Flame Tornado, Flaming Strike, Sacred Blade and Giant Hunt, Giantsflame Take Thee and Ancient Dragon’s Lightning Strike. It is a good mix of crowd control, high poise damage, elemental damage, and pretty decent to push away invaders. Using Ritual Shield because I’m pretty squishy, and I’m relying mostly on Erdtree Heal rather than healing flasks so I can really benefit from the Ritual Shield boost. The rest of the talismans I adjust based on area/enemy/invader. I also use other offhand seals to boost the incantations when applicable. No like seriously, why parents don't parent anymore like they used to? Imagine giving a kid phone at 5 yo without any parental control but instead with access to all social media, all adult content and other fucked up shit that kid can find in few clicks.
It's scary for me how everything changed within few years, how the age of worrying about apperance, makeup etc at girls has lowered to like 10. I have 10 year old sister and why all of her 10-12 yo friends are already into makeup, skincare and dressing like teens? My lil sister feels so much pressure because shes the only one in her class to still like pink and colorful stuff. I feel so bad for her, when I was her age most of girls used to dress yk just like kids, I remember I was wearing clothes with cats and unicorns at her age and no one gave a fuck.
And I wanna bring there also social media and adult content, more and more kids starts dating and getting into sexual stuff around 14. I see all the time some 14 yo or something to ask about relationship or sexual advice here, its sad for me to see. I mean okay everyone do everything in the time they think its alright for them, but I feel like now social media and appearing adult content everywhere made it even worse than it was, kids see adult content for example on tik tok and think theyre ready for such stuff (also probably seeing other people their age being in relationships makes them feel even more pressure).
I feel like social media made disappearing the borders beetwen childchood, young teens and older teens-adults. I am only 17, but I feel like way too much changed within few years, for example I remember that it was common to experiment w apperance when u entered teen hood or skincare and heavier makeup for people in my birth year was common to start doing at 16 but now u see 13-14 polished in full makeup 🤷🏼♀️
Our generation also somehow grew up on internet, had brain rot and stupid trends, but not on such lvl like them ig. I wouldnt give a fuck what is happenning rn w kids if I didnt had younger sister tbh, I think about all of these stuff very often worrying about her, she tells me stories from school so I know how it looks like to be kid nowadays and also I have some view on it by myself.
I really hope that not only Australia but also other countries will ban social media under 16 yo or that parents will start parenting like they should. Social media has a lot pluses and minuses and our generation, and gen alpha are guinea pigs when it comes to it but theres a difference that our generation remembers at least a little bit of world when everything wasnt all about smartphones and social media, while they don't.
