2024.11.30 07:30 Div1n Anyone else still crashing with the new update? Possibly due to memory leak?
Before the night ops update, I rarely crashed compared to the early months following the initial release.
Specs are 3080 10GB, 32GB RAM, Ryzen 5 3600XT.
I started monitoring my usage and saw that game consistently crashes once RAM usage hovered around 85% and beyond. I assume that Windows forcibly closes the GZW client once it reaches this point.
On the VRAM side of things, usage never exceeds 8.5GB since I only run Med textures on 1080P
I’m not too technically versed with the inner workings of PC RAM, but I did notice one time before a particular crash that my committed memory was 30GB out of 31GB if that helps.
No other programs are running whenever I boot up the game save for Steam

Completed the main story a few times when I was younger but returned recently and Kaos was rough. i played on hard mode and through the whole play through I mainly only used 3 or 4 skylanders so I forced myself to only use those for the Kaos fight. I’m not exactly a good gamer at any game really but damn that was rough. I don’t think it was actually difficult but it’s very long and one slip up can cost you half your health. Was thinking about trying nightmare mode but after that Kaos fight I’m not sure I could. Any tips for fighting Kaos and should I even try nightmare mode?
