I’m 19(m) and have been a line cook for about five months, at a notorious, but not incredible restaurant. I took a swing and decided to stage at the most prestigious restaurant in my city. To my surprise, they said yes! I was instructed to make family in two hours and observe/listen and take in as much as possible. Everybody LOVED family! I made chicken adobo, and it was a hit. Only person I didn’t hear from was the CDC, who is in charge of hiring me. After stage was over, he pulled me into his office and asked me what I would’ve done differently in my dish. What I said, he said he would’ve done the same (sear the chicken a little harder). But “all in all, it was pretty good and all the flavors were there.” He went on to tell me he could tell I’m new, but what’s funny is he thought I had 3 years experience on me when I only have 5 months (didn’t correct him). He also pointed out that he appreciated that I was efficient, kept my station clean, asked all the right questions, and brought a notebook. Y’all think I have a shot at the position? He said he has more candidates applying within the following week and that he’d get back to me by next Saturday. I’m stressed, but also proud of myself for putting it all out there today.

I lived with my boyfriend but l can’t live there because he teaches music to kids out of our one bedroom apartment. It’s the only way he can make money. Since I’m immunocompromised l can no longer live there during my treatment. I’ve gotten COVID and pneumonia from his kids already. I’m considering renting a one bedroom by myself. I’m wondering if there are housing options for cancer patients or reduce housing. Anything helps thanks 😊

He visto que para solicitar un credito vehicular usado entre los requisitos esta que el vehiculo debe tener 5 anos de antiguedad para que el mismo vehiculo entre como garantia. Mi pregunta es, que otras alternativas tengo? estoy interpretando mal esto?
