2024.11.30 05:40 bipboopbopbop Axolotl is very sick! Please help!
 | Recently my axolotl has grown quite sick. He hasn't eaten in 2 weeks and at first I thought he just didn't have an appetite but I began to grow worried by the 2nd week. I used to feed him pellets but am now trying to feed him blackworms but unfortunately every time he gets one in his mouth he spits it back out. The water parameters are normal/perfect so I have no idea what's happening. I do know the ammonia levels rose about 3 weeks ago but I easily fixed that and thought that by now he'd be better. He has also developed small bumpy white dots all over his body and is now floating on his side. His gills are also starting to shrink and his eyes are starting to look cloudy? I have no idea how else to help him now but give him a tea bath and pop him in the fridge but i'm worried that'll shock him. I recently started using Goodnotes for note-taking, and I've encountered an issue. When I reach the end of the line in portrait mode, a dialog box unexpectedly opens with a link being inserted just by a single finger touching the screen. This forces me to either backspace the link or delete the comment. Is there any way to fix this or disable this feature?

This is despite Gus previously visiting him in the hospital and basically telling him that he was the one who did it. Why would he give into Nacho’s attempt to anger him if he knew this?

2024.11.30 05:40 rocolococo1 AIO for being pissed off about wasting food at a restaurant thanksgiving dinner with friends?
I’m traveling with my family and the family of my kid’s friend from school. I planned the trip two months ago, with very specific details on a specialized app. Nothing crazy or trip nazi style, just the main sights for about 50% of the time. What I did include was thanksgiving dinner information. It was hard to find a place that would open and would have thanksgiving menu, but I did and was very happy about it.
When we got there the waitress explained portions were large and we would definitely have more than we could eat. But the other father started asking about other plates on the menu and ended up ordering an additional special off the menu plate which he was told was a portion for several people.
When his plate got there it was huge. I was visibly pissed off and he started giving everyone a medium portion to eat- whether they wanted or not. He didn’t offer me any. I was visibly pissed off because I knew most of the thanksgiving menu would go to waste and because I felt I had wasted my time planning and he had no respect for it.
I asked the manager if we could cancel our pre ordered menu and switch for regular menu items, which would have been fine by me, but he said it was not possible as they were specifically ordered turkeys based on expected sales. He was so nice as to offer to throw in a desert for free which I respectfully turned down.
Back at the table the other mother commented how they didn’t like turkey, and they had seen the information I had sent about the menu but thought it disrespectful to say anything about it. I thought it was bs because there is a good level of trust and that just sounds ridiculous to me.
The Turkey menu arrived and it was huge. At least four times as much as we could have eaten.
During the meal the other father behaved like a dick, praising the waitress for how good the plate he ordered was, and stuffed himself with two rounds of turkey on top of his huge plate, as to show he was going to eat anyway. His wife asked him a couple times if he would be ok eating si much.
There were pounds of meat and sides left, which we carried back to the hotel. I tried giving to the staff but they had already eaten. I tried giving to homeless people couldn’t find any. Left it all at the front desk of the hotel.
As a result, this drastically changed my opinion of them and I felt the guy was both stupidly immature and disrespectful to me. At the same time it was not a big enough deal to mess up thanksgiving dinner and call him out, but I’m definitely not traveling with them anymore and probably won’t be looking to hang out much with them either.
Am I over reacting?
