2024.11.30 07:40 WetSpongySponge Is having SA/CA paranoia with child caretakers normal?
My 5 month old daughter has been a great sleeper since she was 2 months old. She has been through a lot in her 5 month little life. That being said .. for the past 3 weeks she’s beginning to “have nightmares”. I say nightmares because I know babies technically can’t dream or have night terrors this young, but when she’s sleeping, she’ll smile, make faces/frowns, laugh, and cry. But recently she’s beginning to cry. It’s like 4-6 seconds, but doesn’t wake up.. like a nightmare. I’m going to be going back to work soon, but I have a b abysitter who’s been watching her here and there so I can get things done around the house(I’m a single mom). I don’t know what the hell it is but something about her watching my baby gives me a bad feeling. Like, something in me always tells me to inspect my daughter when I pick her up. I’ve been through SA as a child and CA & I think my trauma flared up as soon as I had my babygirl. I really don’t want to judge her or accuse my babysitter of doing things to my daughter because of my personal trauma, but I can’t help but have this feeling about her and my baby. My daughter just started crying and having “nightmares” & it’s been bothering me.. I have talked to my baby’s pediatrician about feeling anxious about having people watch my baby and she said it’s normal. I even asked her what were the signs of SA in a baby and she said unless there’s physical evidence of abuse, it’s hard to tell on a child this young. That made me want to throw up. This is just odd to me.. I thought children 2+ got nightmares as a result of abuse, could an infant? Am I being paranoid? Do other moms feel this way when leaving their children in daycare/with babysitter?

 | Buenas noches, Hace unas semanas me comenzó a dar problemas visuales la pc, y no sé que puede ser. Intenté actualizar los drivers, formatear, analizas la GPU con GPU-Z, DXDiag, sacarle la pila a la mother. La realidad es que es algo raro que me comenzó a hacer, al principio me hacía glitches con el Opera GX y pensaba que era un problema del navegador, después me empezó a aparecer en todos lados. Los juegos se me crashean, inclusive el FIFA 23 me aparecían jugadores sin ropa, el arco doblado, ahora directamente ni me abre. Es raro porque me sucede en ambos monitores (uno conectado a la GPU y la otra conectada a la mother) Pensé que podía ser el disco pero está perfecto. También pensé que podría ser el procesador, pero bueno, ya me cansé de buscar y no encontrar nada.
