2024.11.30 05:30 Key-Air3506 How do they get away with certain crimes?
I feel like the most unrealistic aspect of the show is the characters not getting charges for some of their outlandish criminal schemes. For example, rewatching fortunate son and Benny and Chrissy’s heist is so shoddily planned it’s crazy they didn’t get caught. Also, other things like Chris shooting an employees toe off in broad daylight and not getting arrested is crazy. I get the show is dated, but forensic and criminology tech was modern and effective enough to wear you can’t say “it was easier to get away with crime”. David Chase seems to make an attempt with realism for every other aspect of the show to some degree, but that doesn’t apply here.

So I started playing about 2 months ago and got afterbirth a soon as i unlocked the lost so i could get holy mantle. So after playing for a while after I got most of the post-it notes done except for the lilith, and one last thing for the lost the boss rush. Now this probably is just a skill issue but I've spent three days playing the lost trying to beat boss rush and I'm at my wits end. So my question is If i get the other dlcs will that make this a little bit easier or should I just keep on running face first into boss rush like how a dark souls player tries to brute force to victory

Diagnosed early October.
Im obviously sick (my neuropathy and joint pain is worse, ive had daily fevers for months now, swollen lymphnodes, etc).
I suddenly started to feel a lot worse about 5 days ago (a couple weeks post prednisone taper now).
Ik the logical step is that I probably need to go back on prednisone bc I feel so sick. But I dont have the willpower to say anything to my rheumatologist anymore.
It feels pointless bc there's been no real solution and my most recent labs are normal with an exception of elevated blood creatinine.
Im so tired of scans, blood tests and doctors appointments. And I fucking hate feeling like there's attention on me when doing those things due to my social anxiety. I think I'm giving up at this point.

We’re looking for quieter beach town near La Paz to travel to with our 3 kiddos ages 6, 8, and 11. We’re hoping to travel the first week of January. Ideally, we’re looking for a place with a nice beach and a few shops and restaurants that are walkable, though we will have a car. Any suggestions are welcome. Also, safety is a big concern for us with the kiddos. This will be our first trip to Mexico as a family, but we’re all pretty experienced travelers as a family.
