2024.11.30 06:23 unfortunategoon Won't load into bios?
My computer starts and stays on the Asus splash screen that prompts which buttons to load bios but bios doesn't load- check keyboard cable and computer magically loads into bios and then starts but my m.2 isn't seen... Shutdown, check cables, turn on- won't load bios.
After about a half a dozen times for the second time (even after checking the keyboard cable repeatedly) computer finally loads into bios and then allows me to restart and my computer boots again but it is still missing my m.2
Worried about shutting it down again at this point.
Any input would be lovely as I know very little about computers.

I am the assistant manager at an animal hospital. We just hired a new person. This is a two-pronged question.
- The owner wants the new girl to tidy up her hair. It isn't dirty but it is up in a high ponytail. The nature of our work requires us to put our hair up. To me, the way she has her hair isn't terrible. So how do I approach her?
- The owner asked the other vet assistant who is my direct report to tell the new person this. I'm a bit peeved that he is asking her to do this, not only because it puts her in an uncomfortable position but he is supposed to come to me with these issues.

Hi, I am hoping I can get some help because I am honestly totally lost. I finished a degree in economics end of 2022 but haven't been able to get a job with it. Largely my fault I feel since I didn't network at all and didn't do any internships or anything so came out of uni with just grades. (I'm also autistic and pretty socially anxious so getting a job is hard enough as it is). I have been researching accounting and it seems like something I would really love but I have no idea how to transition into the field. I was looking at doing a master's in professional accounting but everywhere I look people are saying it's impossible to get a job with this.

my psych and I realized I'm one of the rare cases where lamotrigine will quite literally amplify cluster migraines so I have to quit it seeing as I can't really exist like that long term. but now we can't figure out what to put me on for a mood stabilizer, she told me there's no other options since I can't sit still for blood work and I guess the other mood stabilizers require frequent blood work? live love laugh bipolar.
