Hi I’ll get straight to it, my question is. Picking up a new piece what is the correct way or effective ways to actually learn a new piece?
Any tips? Things I should be doing? How should approach learning a new piece?
I want to learn elite syncopations by Scott Joplin, my Goal is to learn his catalogue.
I do it through synthesia but this hasn’t been effective.

Has anyone else experienced a bit of doubt after leaving a decade of Lutheran schooling, entering the world, starting a family, then beginning to doubt Lutheranism? Myself and my spouse are both ELS/WELS, presumably because our families always were, which is a bit of an insufficient reason for me nowadays.
I’m having some difficulties now, since going to the effort to know for certain what I believe so I can teach my child. Certainly not as black and white as what I remember being presented to in Lutheran schooling unfortunately.
Consequently I’ve realized - that perhaps I’m not in complete alignment with Lutheranism? Or more broadly doubting modern (particularly low-church) Protestantism as a general concept?
Have been reading some of the early church fathers - and having a bit of a hard time believing that for 1500 years all of Christendom, though full of sinners as it is now, was heretical and apart from God and His Divine Will - particularly when Christ promised the gates of hell shall not prevail... Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here?
Obviously the spousal situation is an issue also - do not want to fracture our family by having two denominations and parents attending different churches, yet also cannot go against my conscience in the long term. The easiest option is to suddenly believe fully in that which our church confesses but also I do not know how to do so.
I do not know fully what I do believe nor have decided on any actual conversion but know that I am having a serious spiritual battle with all of this.

I enjoy delving into RPG settings books and reading up on their lore and pouring over maps. I enjoy worldbuilding and part of that enjoyment is reading about other fictional worlds - particularly fantasy worlds (including flintlock era). They are a great source of inspiration and ideas on what details I can include in my worlds - religion, geography, social structures…
Current favourites are the Mystara gazetteers and the various Harn kingdom books. Pathfinder also has a good selection of world and regional books as well.
I don’t play D&D (I prefer less heroic systems) but I have recently been tempted to learn more about the world of Greyhawk as it’s getting a lot of attention recently.
Any recommendations for other settings books?

I see a lot of smartphones with telephoto lenses, where one might have, say, 200 MP and 4x zoom, or 50 MP and 5x zoom, or 10 MP and 10x zoom. I have also read that the aperture size and sensor size matter here.
With all these factors involved, how can I figure out which of these cameras will best at resolving details at long distances (ignoring AI-enhanced images, which are often "guessing" to an extent).
