I've always dreamt of building an online side business where I can build once and sell to millions. I love that business model but have never dreamt that I can achieve that, given that I am not a programmer in my career. I have been following side hustle school and some other business podcast for the past years as a drive and motivation to create my own business.
Over the years, I've delve a little on to web development using WordPress and in the hope of earning some money from that. I learnt in the hard way but is a good learning story and journey. I realised that what you put all your efforts building and excited for doesn't mean anything for anyone else and also learnt the importance of UI UX.
Fast forward to 5 months ago (July 2024), I've came across several low code app builder. With the help of the low code tools in combination with chatgpt, I've finally launched my first mobile app - Rolly: AI Money Tracker.
But the business challenges doesn't end here, but it's just the beginning. I got no experience and skills on marketing but I've got my drive and passion that keep propelling me forward. By keep listening on people sharing their journey, looking at different apps to brainstorm etc, I've managed to now grow my user base from 1k (in 5 months) to 100k (in 5days). What's happening was my app somehow got viral in Vietnam when people are getting interest funny comments from my AI during entering the transaction and it has been sharing around in the social media and even featured on the news. What a crazy journey as the inflow of users has been too sudden, my server has been down for a few times until I progressively upgrade it until it got stable these couple of days.
As for my advice to people dreaming the to be entreprenuer - Don't overthinking about all the problems you will face before starting. You will encounter hundreds of problems along the way and you just need to solve them one by one. You will never start if you think about what's not working and there will never be an answer for everything - even I don't have an answer for everything now.

2024.11.30 07:21 Jmp7777 Started at 8 weeks old on Omeprazole -11 days, no improvement.
Desperately looking for any advice/stories re omeprazole and my (tomorrow) 9 week old.
100% formula fed. Started with her arching her back and crying in pain during feeds. We filmed it and explained symptoms to pediatrician who said it was GERD and advised us to try Nan comfort, thickener and probiotics - this change helped a bit but we’re still instances of the above happening. She prescribed us 1ml a day of omeprazole if the changes didn’t work.
We started omeprazole 11 days ago, there’s been no improvement, she cries and cries for 1-2hrs especially at 5pm feed. For all other feeds she seems to be okay enough to settle but struggles to go to sleep. And overnight feeds she is completely fine.
Her stomach gurgles and churns when she eats and so the crying/arching back/stiff legs begin.
And just when I think I’ve finally burped her 20 mins after a feed , she needs to burp again another 10 mins later.
Did anyone see it get worse before it gets better or did omeprazole cause terrible wind/gas in their baby?

I play on xbox one and wasn't able to play for over a week because I equipped a MW3 weapon and got stuck in the boot loop and only recently got out but the game is really laggy, it will take me 3-4 presses before I can start putting in armour and everytime I fire it gets worse so I can barely get any kills. It's only warzone, MW3 and other games are fine. I am just asking so that I know it isn't just me and if Activision have said when it will be fixed. I mainly play plunder and resurgence.

I recently found this app called ClearSpace that lets you block your apps behind doing PUSH-UPS and boy is it one of the most helpful things ever. Now I am so intentional about the time that I use social media, and if I REALLY want to use more time I can always circumvent the block by doing more push-ups (rare). Only problem is... it costs $50 a year... and the camera tracking is glitchy enough to make that price tag feel unjustified.
Has anyone else heard of a product like this? I would really love to find an alternative.

I'm a cis male, black and african, currently pursuing my graduate studies(for context), and I've always had a unique vision for my future that might not align with traditional expectations. My dream has always been to be a househusband or partner with someone who's retired, allowing us to travel the world while I take on occasional part-time work.
I've primarily dated older women, though I'm open to relationships with partners of various ages. While the best route will be not having kids of my own(hence why I prefer older ladies), I'm okay with partners who have kids or might want them in the future. I genuinely love cleaning, doing chores, organizing, planing for the home etc and I'm an exceptional cook (I even owned a restaurant once). I'm responsible, rarely drink, don't smoke, don’t play video games. Also for context I don’t believe in earthly possessions, house etc. I just want to travel, so I’m not going into these relationships to get anything out, even offer prenup. I don’t want to bite anyone’s back.
To the real incident, recently, I went on a date with a doctor(has crazy working hours) who has a 13-year-old son. I was upfront about my desire to be a supportive partner and househusband. I explained that I'd be happy to help with her son's daily needs, like school drop-offs and attending his games, and that I could easily adapt my studies to online or hybrid formats to support her career.
Her response was deeply hurtful. Instead of simply expressing that we weren't compatible, she degraded me, calling me a "bum" “ain’t I ashamed saying this as a black man” and then poured her wine on me. Her words were very hurtful, i mean I get it’s not traditional but at the same time a “no” could have been cool not say those hurtful words.
This experience has left me questioning: Am I strange for wanting to support my partner and create a nurturing home environment? I'm seeking understanding and perspective, and I'd appreciate kind, constructive feedback.
