 | Hey you beautiful people, just wanted to share with you another great adventure from yours truly. I just free soloed El Cap, the iconic and mystical big wall. I did it all on my own with no extra help (or "aid" as we climbers say!). It was a truly special experience for me but also for all the other people on the wall, watching me. This really is climbing in it's purest and most precious form. Just me, the wall, nature, my own body and strength and the dude taking the pic. I really feel spiritually lifted after the climb and truly hope my accomplishment will inspire other, lesser climbers to try and achieve something as epic. It really is worth it. I am a 19-year-old female, and I’m very troubled and stressed about my life. No one wants to listen to my point of view or what I’m going through. Everyone feels like I’m overreacting to things or just seeking attention. But the truth is, I’ve never received attention for anything, yet people assume I’m craving it. What I really need is a true friend, someone genuine, who is honest and stays by my side—a real, trustworthy friend.
But so far, every friend I’ve made has betrayed me. Some were there only for their own benefit, and others just treated me as a way to pass time. I’m tired of this. I don’t have anyone to share my situation with. I’m dealing with a lot of family-related problems that I want to talk about, but no one is ready to listen.
My family thinks that I take out my anger from college on them, but the truth is, they are the ones who don’t treat me properly. And my boyfriend blames everything on my periods, saying I’m overthinking because I’m on my period or because I’m ovulating. But the reality is, no one wants to listen to me. They just keep making excuses to avoid hearing me out. Sometimes, I feel like ending it all and just dying.

I'm on day 7 of stims and due for my first scan in 2 days but I've come down with tonsillitis. I haven't seen a doctor about it yet. I'm hoping it won't get so bad that I can't attend the scan. I can't contact my clinic over the weekend. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you think it'll affect my cycle?

So i played through their storyline and romanced them; I just want to add my 2 cents to an already controversial character. The criticisms I've read about them are, I think, off the mark. IMO, I think Taash is the quintessential child of a single immigrant parent. As somebody who grew up the same, I can tell you the their experience of being pulled by two different cultural traditions and demands can create a person who is unable to cultivate a secure identity, and is therefore unable to fit in either, is accurate.
This is why I think they cling onto the Lords of Fortune Identity so strongly; the juxtaposition of Tama's insistence that their dragon breath be hidden atop Taash's inability to fully commit to their gender identity further propels Taash into an inwards spiral; if their mother rejects such a core, and some would argue, simple, biological aspect, what would she do with something as complex as gender identity? Taash has no choice but to grasp onto the Lords of Fortune as a vehicle for personality development and sense of self. She has no sense of self outside of it, so of course Taash is going to lash out when they encounter issues in the outside world that, whatever the Lords of Fortune philosophy is, can't deal with. Which is almost everything. Its this very struggle that a lot of people have mistaken for "childishness" or "immaturity". Which is such a shame because I think Taash's story is the best in the game.
I also think the gender identity issue is why their story is dismissed. Iron Bull went through the same kind identity struggle, not know whether he was part of the Qun or part of the Chargers; but I didn't read a single peep about this issue being "woke".

2024.11.30 07:22 Majestic-Election976 How do I setup HOSAS as Xbox Controller?
 | I have issues with playing with typical console style controllers due to an injury making it uncomfortable to play for long. But I'm fine so long as my arms are further apart than a typical controller allows. But some games are just better played with controllers. Since I have my new WinWing Ursa Minor Space HOSAS setup for SC, which has console controller style thumbsticks, I was hoping I could emulate an Xbox controller with them for playing other games that would best use a controller rather than mouse and keyboard. All I can get it to do is one stick or the other with XOutput, not both, and all it recognises is the thumbstick as look and the x+y axis of the flightstick as move, no matter what bindings I try using, as soon as I load a game, none of the bindings work and its back to thumbstick as look and x+y as move, on one stick only. But I want to use the left flight stick as the left half of an Xbox controller with the thumbstick as move and the right flightstick as the right half with the right thumbstick as look and have it as a generic layout that works as any Xbox controller would on PC. I have Joystick Gremlin, Vjoy and XOutput, but I don't know what I'm doing to make it work how I want. After a long one day break, we return with another name that I have been keeping on the back-burner for the last few weeks trying to see if he is real. Malik Beasley is a longtime NBA vet who has struggled to settle in on a specific team, but who has been a perennial three point streamer many might be familiar with. While not much in his game has changed, he is presented with a unique role and opportunity in Detroit that might pave the way to a solid rest of season role.
Beasley has not stumbled into the Threesly nickname by chance. A career 38% three point shooter, over the course of the last two weeks, Malik is sitting at nearly 40% on high volume. Malik operates as the primary shooter in a Detroit lineup that frankly would not be out of place in the 1990's. This unique role that he is exclusively providing for the Pistons is generating him upwards of 10 3PA per game. He is currently top 10 in the league in threes made per game with 3.6, and his incredible catch and shoot ability provides the perfect release valve for Cade Cunningham, who is often the focus of many teams defensive schemes. Seen here by this incredible vision from Cade when doubled, Malik knows how to get to his spots on the wing and get his quick trigger release immediately off the catch. Beasley is also fully capable of making shots off the move as well, making him a threat in transition should he get to the corner with speed. This transition bucket displays his ability to easily find space and provide an outlet should the lane to the basket prove too crowded. His incredible shooting numbers do drive most of his value, however he is sitting at an unprecedented Z-Score of 1.63 over the season thus far. It also appears that he has taken the mantle as the primary spacing option completely away from Tim Hardaway Jr., making me feel that this can be more or less sustainable for the vet.
Unfortunately for Beasley, he does remain fully one dimensional as a player. His positive categories are those that stem from role as a spot up shooter, mainly points, turnovers, and threes. He does provide great value in those areas, particularly when compared to the rest of the wire. The downsides of course are that he is a very build specific player, with his inability to generate value in other categories proving that he is best suited as a threes specialist who might not kill the rest of your categories. Given the limited nature of his output, should he hit a slump or lose minutes in any way, it would likely spell the end for his viability as anything beyond a streaming option. Until then however, he has been scoring 18.6 ppg with above four threes per game over the course of the last two weeks, boosting him up to an incredible ranking of 65 over that span. While he is not the sexiest name available, the consistency and sustainability of his numbers does not appear to be completely unmatchable rest of season, provided he remains the primary spacing threat in Detroit.

 | As seen in the picture, my doorbell stays stuck in night vision, eventhough it is fully lit outside. It also exposes for the sky so I can barely see anything on the feed. This is an issue since yesterday, worked fine before. I didn't update firmware as far as I know, but it might have happend automatically. Anyone knows a solution?
