2024.12.01 02:39 Smart_Inflation_1821 Got suckered into a scam, they’re threatening to send my “nudes” to my friends & associates. What should I do?
So.. as we all know, Sextortion is a very real and scary scam these days. I met someone on Grindr, started chatting through text and we eventually exchanged face pics and the individual wanted a full nude of me, but I only sent a pic of my p**is. I then was sent this (copy and paste):
“Alright now I've your nude to ruin your life now and I'm ready to send it to your relatives and associates if you're not ready to corporate with me here I'll send it to your relatives and associate Pay me and I'll delete everything right away Deal or no Deal?
I’ll count 1 - 10 now 1 2 3 4 5
I’ll expose your nude if you didn’t corporate with me”
The individual also sent a screenshot they made of my face pic with the dk pic below it and my address and phone number from a Whitepages search engine, and sent me a list of my relatives and possible associates from the same site and said they would also be sending the pics to them if I didn’t cooperate with them. Immediately, I blocked their number as well as all the numbers they put me into a group chat with. What are the odds this person will actually send this out to my relatives & associates or anyone else they please? Like I mentioned, the only risqué image was of my pis only and it included no face or anything in the background indicating it was me, and it was in a hotel room not my home. I of course did NOT pay anything and like I said, I blocked them and took a Xanax to calm my nerves. How worried should I be based on all the details I provided? Has anyone else here been through this and what was the outcome? Thank you! 🙏🏼 and yes, I’m getting off Grindr for good and my Facebook is private as well as my Insta and Snap.

I worked for a small nonprofit that claimed to empower underserved communities. Shortly after starting, I disclosed my disability and upcoming surgery. Initially, my supervisor was understanding and supportive. However, after my surgery and my need for remote work as an accommodation, things drastically changed.
The executive director, who later became my direct supervisor, began treating me differently. My requests for accommodations were met with resistance, and I was put on a work improvement plan just weeks after returning from surgery—even though my performance had never been questioned before. Despite providing documentation from my doctor, the executive director insisted I work in-office part-time, unlike other employees who worked hybrid schedules. The executive director also shared my medical condition in a staff meeting without my consent, excluded me from key meetings, and openly expressed her frustrations about my accommodations.
Eventually, I was terminated, with vague reasons citing that the working relationship “wasn’t going well.” Shortly after, they listed my position under a new title, requiring 100% in-office work. I filed a formal complaint with a state agency, but they sided with the organization, stating my termination was due to performance issues—despite no prior evidence of this before my surgery.
What’s even more frustrating is that the nonprofit claims they can’t pay any potential settlement due to their financial situation. However, I’ve reviewed their tax documents, and there are discrepancies between what they’ve told my lawyers and what’s reported. They've received over $800,000 in grants, spent most of the money paying others and not necessarily on the organization's mission. They claimed that accommodating me by letting me work remote, while I couldn't walk, would cause "hardships." From the 990, their money trail and what i know from working there doesn't add up.
I’m now struggling to find justice and wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar with nonprofits or small employers.

Want to feel loved, wanted, affection, sweet good morning and goodnight messages, to be excited when you get a message, to have deep conversations and be able to talk about anything without judgement and even encouraged to open up? I want to experience all of that too. Maybe we can experience it together. I know a relationship for a day isn’t realistic but it got you to read this far right? Maybe this is how we start talking and make something real.
I am easy going and typically have a positive attitude. I like to joke around but I don’t want to take the jokes too far and be serious when it’s necessary. I am more of a homebody but I’m not opposed to going out and being adventurous. I’m a night owl. I also like organization and order so I’m not really the messy type.
I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, working out, watching stuff, video games, podcasts, being in the sun, etc.

Wondering if anyone knows this movie. From 1970s or early 1980s. I think it takes place in Pacific Northwest. Successful middle aged college professor, maybe even ivy League. He drops out of society and becomes a laborer. Digging ditches in a dangerous job. Starts dating a working class woman who is so much more "real" than his high class educated wife, just like the joe averages are so much more "authentic" than his professor friends. Lives like a real person and has real people problems. Might not be a great movie, but stuck with me.
