I have a kitten that is about 8 months old. She was very scared when I first got her and would spend all day under the couch for the first 2 weeks. She's completely transformed and is now extremely loving and playful with my roommate and I and she hasn't been under the couch in ages. She's always hanging out with us. She loves to be pet all the time and is always following us around.
Yet, with any guests other than us, she won't let them touch her. She'll come close and sniff them but if they ever think about reaching out she runs away. Yet when they have food in front of them, she's right up on them not scared. She's extremely food motivated.
I'm really just wondering if she'll grow out of this? It kinda drives me insane sometimes cause I notice they can pet her fine when she's sniffing their food, lol. So clearly she can't actually be THAT scared. She does this with people who are over at our place all the time and she's seen numerous times. I just want her to be as sociable and sweet to others as she is with me and my roommate!

I'm looking at putting in a PoE based system and have heard great things about reolink (especially the fact it's not mandatory cloud based) but not sure which and how many cameras I would need.
My house has a 2 car detached garage around 20ft behind my house (ranch ~1200sqft) with the backyard being around 75ft to the fence. The front of the house has the walk running on the edge of the house to the front door (there's 3 massive overgrown shrubs that I need to probably take out that would likely interfere with visibility) and the final side of the house has only 1 window near the backyard that could theoretically be a security risk.
Any recommendations for # and type of cameras would be appreciated. Also I do have networking run through conduit into the garage so no issues there
