So I accidentally bought a 1TB memory card (nvme) and was wondering if I just have to buy a bigger one or if I could pair that with some kind of ssd to save some money rather than just having to buy a completely new memory card, thanks in advance!

2024.12.01 02:40 HugeJaguar3589 Talipes baby in boots and bar need to bedshare
Looking for advice. My baby was born with bilateral talipes (clubfoot in both feet) which is usually picked up at the 20 week scan but it was missed so we didn’t get to prepare and research.
She was great sleeping in her casts and boots and bar when she was in them for 23 hours a day. Since she’s gone down to 12-14 hours, which is overnight, she just will not go back to sleep after about a 4 hour stretch unless she sleeps on me or we take the boots off, which isn’t good for her in the long run.
So I’ve decided the only alternative is to bedshare which we’ve done now and again but didn’t really want to make a habit of it but from doing some research it seems it might be the only option to help her sleep with the boots and bar on.
She’s 10 months old now so I’m looking at the best ways to bedshare and would love any advice. Did anyone use bed guards? Would a floor bed be the best option? I want to know all the options to figure out what will be best for her.

i have double ear piercings that both healed in about a week, no pain or redness, even after switching them to hoops. i pierced my nose a little over 2 weeks ago and don’t have any irritation, swelling, or redness. i can also push it up and down, twist it and clean it with no pain. would i be safe changing it to a hoop?

Hi! I am located in Wilmington NC, I'm looking for a low-cost server to run some basic virtualized stuff like Audiobookshelf, Plex, and a Calibre library.
I only really have 100$ to budget as I'm currently a student, I know it's kinda low but figured I would try :) preferably looking for a tower-based system with the option to add in storage over time as I don't currently have HDD's to put in it, kinda gonna piecemeal things, but a rackmounted option is alright, just might sit on a table for a few months while I wait to get a proper rack.

Should I buy the Q5 pro+ or the Q8 max without dock? They are almost the same price now, just $20 difference. However if I want to have the dock for Q8 it will cost $200 more.. I am mainly thinking of using it to vacuum and mopping is not so important for me.

This is a note to this guide, since I cannot upload this as a comment (it keeps telling me "cannot create comment"), so I have to create a new post for this. And I have to give credit to user No-Drawing4232, for creating the guide that finally worked for my SteamDeck, after I tried so many guides
Here is my note:
=========== Stage 0: Preparation
- If still NOT WORK, consider "Factory Reset" to purge the OS env
- Install ProtonUp-Qt and ProtonTricks (Both can be found in "discover" app store, desktop mod)
- Download .Net4.8 offline installer and WeMod installer
- Let Steam update proton & runtimes (if appeard in download queue) & restart SteamDeck
- In ProtonUp-Qt, add version GE-Proton9-20
4.b if still not work, check your proxy settings, use another VPN, or restart the machine
=========== Stage 1: WeMod Installation
- Add WeMod.exe (installer in Download) as non steam game
- Open Steam Library -> WeMod -> properties, and do:
6.2 In Compatibility section, check "force ... compatibility tool", then choose GE-Proton9-20
- Click Play (this will create the ProtonTrick prefix for WeMod, and let WeMod install under that prefix)
- Once WeMod installer shown up with the .Net48 error message, terminate WeMod
- Open ProtonTricks, find WeMod
9.2 Select WeMod, then select "default wineprefix"
- Select "Run winecfg", change Windows version to "Windows 7", then click "Apply" & "OK"
- Seletct "Run uninstaller":
p.s. wine mono will trick .Net48 installer to believe it was already installed
11.2 Select "Install", choose "Download" folder, select the .Net48 installer
p.s. If .Net4.8 installer not show, at the window's bottom, change "File type" to .exe or *
11.3 Once .Net48 installed, click “OK” to exit "uninstaller" page
- Select "Install a Windows DLL or component",
12.2 Once installed, click "Cancel" & "OK" to exit "Install DLL" page and enter the menu in 9.2
- Select "Run winecfg", change Windows version to "Windows 11", then click "Apply" & "OK"
- Without check anything, click "OK" and "Cancel" to exit ProtonTricks
15 Find WeMod Proton prefix number
16 Find WeMod installation directory (note as

I got into both Laurier data science as well as Brock data science (computational) and analytics.
I'm stuck between the two because I received co op option first year for brock, and laurier isn't even guaranteed in second year. Co op is very important to me and my goals because of the hands on experience.
Bottom line is which one is better in terms of: cost, post graduation employment rate, co op, social life, etc.

2024.12.01 02:40 West-Ad1412 I’m thinking about “going away” because my car got towed today and I have nothing left
I just turned 18 in November and I gotten full access of my uncles car and stuff.
When today there was an event in my city and I went by it because there’s a mutual place I had to go too and there was no sign saying no parking but within 5 minutes I gotten towed and the guys called me ignorant when I towed him I’m not from the city and didn’t know the rules.
I begged him to let me go to the atm and take money out but he said no.
My parents gotten the car out and paid over 200 dollars and stuff and now I’m not allowed to drive but I have nothing now that car got me to work.
I was able to do activities I could never do because they was too “busy”
I made friends with cars at school and now I have nothing.
I try to tell them it’s not my fault and I have the money to paid them back.
Well half of it is true I owed them a little bit but after I give it I think Im just better off gone
I can’t deal with the stress of school and life I’m tired of it all.
I just need to get this off my chest somewhere cause I feel like I’m overreacting and I have no one to talk to. Like usual
