I graduated earlier this year in May from an American T150 engineering school before moving to Canada to pursue a master's at a global T30. No internship or full-time experience because of personal health challenges since junior year that I'm still working on. Since starting grad school this September, though, I've started to job search for entry-level roles, including internships, and have gotten varied feedback from too technical to a lack of experience. With the job market in both the US and Canada being the way it is, I'm a bit lost as to how to proceed. In terms of specific roles to apply for, I'll admit I'm a bit lost there too, though I have been focusing on structural analyses and/or forensic engineer roles. Either way, I customize each résumé according to the job description. Additional details that might help: I'm not a citizen or PR of either the US or Canada (work-authorized in both though). Extremely flexible with location (mentioned on applications). Trilingual (native fluency in English) and currently learning French (not sure if I should mention this on a technical résumé, however?). I wrapped my arms around your torso and inhaled your scent, absorbed your warmth. I didn’t think about the chance of an eventual end because in that moment, you were all I could think about. All I could feel. All I could care for.
Your eyes are icy blue much like the ice and frost that the winter breeds, yet staring into them for several minutes on end filled me with such warmth and comfort. Then I’d kiss you, and I swear that I could’ve sank into the softness of your lips which kept my own snug, forever.
I laid my head down on your chest and felt your comforting heartbeat and my hand felt the warm smoothness of your pale skin. Our skin against each other often encouraged the warmth to crescendo into heat and desire…
Your long and golden hair, which to me resembled the song of heavenly freedom plucked on the shining golden strings of a harp, would cascade down my face and provide a curtain for us when we made love. It was just us.
Then I would hear your soothing, gentle voice murmur, “I love you, Larissa.”
That was the best November of my life.
This November is freezing, pitch black. The snow’s searing blankness overwhelms me. The sharp icicles of the wind cut through me and leave me sheer, empty. The icy blue no longer resembles the peculiar warmth for its kind as it did in your eyes before. It faces me with indifference and cruelty.
The gift of warmth was torn from me, my love, but somehow I prevail in these barren lands. Oh, it’s so tempting to lie down and let my memories of you render me frozen in time, as it tends to do from moment to moment. Only for a day or few, not forever… yet sometimes, I wish it was forever. Sometimes, I wish I could let my veins grow cold and eventually freeze as I recall the warmest memories of my life.
Somehow, I don’t allow myself to fall victim to grief, time, isolation, despair, desolation and ice.

i was driving my 2010 accord in 5th gear and it seemed to start grinding and making horrible sounds when i was going about 45-55mph so i shifted into natural and went back into 5th because i thought that it had slipped out of gear as it had done before with 3rd but never to this extreme. And after i shifted into 5th it made the same sound and when i hit the gas there was no acceleration. so i stopped pulled over and decided to try and milk it back home. When i pulled off about .5 miles down the road all the gears started making the same sound as 5th gear. Got it towed and haven't checked it out myself, cant find anyone who's had the same issue anywhere i look on the net and the previous owner said it had gotten a new clutch less than a year ago and has been driving completely fine since i got the car. the only issues has been an issue with the throw out bearing making a grinding sound when in neutral and letting out of the clutch.
thank you for the help and hoping this doesn't mean i need a new transmission.
