I keep seeing this clip on social media of an AI translation of Hitler talking about invading Poland. In this clip he says things like “I asked the Polish to surrender five times” and “I told them to evacuate the woman and children” (these are rough quotes not exact). I am wondering if this speech rings a bell to anyone, because after seeing short clips of this “speech” by Hitler on Tik Tok and insta reels I have been totally unable to find him saying this in any of his speeches. I am wondering if this could be a made up clip, or a little known speech. Any ideas?

i’m in the middle of a panic attack/meltdown sorry if this is jumbled up but me and my bf have been together a year and a half now. he plays dnd every saturday or sunday usually. these sessions they normally last 8-9 hours and he always updates me around 9pm to let me know when he thinks they’re gonna end so i can either wait up for him or go to sleep if it’s going to be awhile. in the course of our relationship i’ve had a few minor unrelated emergencies or panic attacks or break downs during these sessions (i don’t play with them obviously). there’s been about 3 times now i have either not been able to reach him at all or it took him over an hour to respond. I know an hour seems like not a lot of time for someone who is actively busy but again remember he normally updates me by his own choice AND i’ve now sat through a couple sessions and his phone is always next to him i’ve even texted him while sitting next to him and his phone buzzes loudly and anyone could hear it at least while i was there. He also has his laptop in front of him for the game. So when im not there it seems unlikely that this isn’t the case. this may seem like my meltdowns are a regular thing but they’re not these have been months inbetween. i have an anxiety disorder and certain things trigger it which i am working on. but these times he’s been unreachable have recently made me more angry because he seems to respond fine some times when it’s not important but when it is and i’m begging him to call me or help me calm down he just isn’t there. the one time he was not reachable at all was because his phone was in another room charging but it seems weird that he’d do that knowing that he’s supposed to update me when they’re going to end the session. am i overreacting about this? i don’t expect him to be there 24/7 i just think given the circumstances and knowing how his sessions work it’s weird that he can’t respond to me when i’m having emergencies

Rural regular here. I was under the impression we could not be denied sick leave, but my PM maynot approve mine for next week. Just want to check if she can. She ran off three subs and fired one right before Christmas, and "can't find coverage." She's been forcing us to take a 5 on our K days which is why I put in for SL. My brother is having a stint put in and I'm his medical proxy. I saw where the ELM does count siblings... I think?

I guess day 3 is the day for guilt. I have spent the day listening to all talk about how wonderful our family member was. And here i sit, thinking of yes, the hell they put me through for so long, and just smile and nod my head as they talk. There was a reason, many reasons, for putting this family member NC. And those reasons did not go away just because they passed. There are so many unresolved issues that will never be put to rest now. Hence the guilt. I am so lucky that I have a wonderful husband for support, and another gift in my life, is my AA group. Boy! Can they deal with guilt.
Is it wrong of me to still think of this family member as NC, even in death?

2024.12.01 04:53 yoshiatsu Diagnosing a pellet grill?
When I went to smoke my Thanksgiving turkey my pellet grill wouldn't start(!!) It just ran the fan but didn't ignite the pellets. So, I tried again and it failed again. So, opened up the burn chamber... it was all ash. It had been cleaned recently, not a ton of ash. Just no pellets. so I cleaned it out and added pellets and tried again. It not only didn't ignite but actually tripped the GFCI on the outdoor outlet breaker.
At that point I smoked the turkey on my charcoal grill (it came out fine, just a little late).
My questions are: how do I go about diagnosing this? I suspect an auger problem because of the GCFI thing and because it's been making a weird squeeeeeking noise lately. Is there a way to tell for sure? Does anyone have experience replacing an auger motor? The grill is an older Green Mountain Grill Jim Bowie (wider one). I think the auger motor is like "only" $60 so if that's the problem I'd likely opt to fix it myself. Love any advice from the community.
