19 y/o female sparky here! Just wanted to pop on here because I don’t see a ton of information on the SLC union process.
Beginning wage is $21.63, for first years.
Union 354 aptitude is a pass or fail, you do not receive your actual scores, just what level you scored - Below average, average, or above average.
I used IPREP to study, I do find the math is a bit different on the test but same idea. I found it harder than what IPREP preps you for. Be prepared for that.
You are not allowed to have phones during the test, you will be asked to leave it in your car.
Bring your ID, they will take it when you arrive. If you do not have it, you will be turned away.
Be social and kind, it’s scary going in there knowing you’ll have to wait 3 months if you fail. Making acquaintances while you wait and in between tests really calms your nerves.

Well yeah, at the title says, no one close to me know this. But I'm fricking exhausted, I've so many defects both physical and mental that it's not even funny.
One time I saw a post about a friend of someone, talking about that someone decided to end things up around the age of 37, the post mentioned how for years he worked so hard on being successful, but he was still unable to be loved and to be happy.
I can't describe the amount of rage and disgust that I felt when I saw that the comment section was filled with people saying things like "If only he had waited, there's always someone for everyone, the grass is always greener", I can't believe how cruel people can be.
For many 37 might be young, but I'll always respect that dude for enduring so much.
So, instead of focussing on being successful and all of that, I'll do my best to try and be happy and found peace with all of my defects, way easier said than done, being a freak sucks.
And if by 37 I haven't found a legit good reason to stay here then I just won't, you know? I feel like by that point I would've gotten the gist of this, not gonna lie I do feel scared and terrified, usually people with my profile end up doing just that, I can't blame them, but God, I hope that something happens so I can be happy.

This might be a dumb question but... please excuse my ignorance.
A friend is sending me a gift through DHL Express, from US to Germany. The value is 100 USD. He entered every detail online when purchasing, sent me screenshots of every step, the HS code, commodity code, all details from A to Z. At the end when he purchased the service, he received an E-Mail with PDF documents that are necessary. They contain:
- Shipping Label - WayBill DOC - Shipment Receipt - Proforma Invoice (two times)
But no customs declaration such as CN23 or similar. I am aware that no commercial invoice is necessary for gift shipments, but... that there is no additional customs declaration to be printed out to put inside the documents pouch is... total news to me.
Now both him and I are uneasy to ship by putting "only" the Proforma inside the documents pouch.
He actually called DHL twice and the customer service representative did not know what a CN23 was. He then tried to cancel the order online but that did not work either, there was no option to cancel and get the money refunded. Several official DHL pages state that a customs declaration is necessary despite it being a gift.
Tomorrow he will be going to a service location. He will bring the package and all PDFs that were provided with him. What questions should he be asking, and if all fails and he feels uneasy to ship... what is the fastest way to cancel and get the money back? I appreciate all the input I can get on this.

Ultimates in this game are lame. I thoroughly enjoy this game and have played it every day ive had access to it since the beta.
However, a large amount of the ultimates do not feel very unique. And Im worried that this may persist throughout the future of the game and become rather boring. Id like to see some more unique ults worked into the game.
stuff like the hawkeye vision. Its so unique and cool, its not just a big circle of raining arrows. I love it so much, and I dont even play hawkeye! I just think its so interesting and unique.
I think the game needs more ultimates that embrace individuality of a hero rather than a big circle of dmg,utility,or healing to enable your team. Because regardless of what the heroes ults are individually the players will find ways to combine them.
I canr figure out how to word it really but the big circle ult feels like im being treated as too stupid to properly utilize an individual ult like a nanoboost, or a genji blade, or a molten core where i place it as i see fit.
I do hope this changes as new heroes continue to enter the game but as of right now.
Alot of the heroes feel like they have the exact same ultimate ability even though they work slightly differently. Maybe im just playing too much though and am just recognizing the patterns more than I should be

Will Bio 2960 be hard for someone who has no biology background at all?
