So I'm scheduled for my first dose next week. I'm curious to know how long I'd be susepible to sickness. Is this something that stays the same until my next dose or it's something where I semi revert back to my ability to stay relatively healthy?
I have my first dose followed by my second one 2 weeks later. After that it's every 6 months.

Hi everyone I just got my nipples done a couple days ago and I've just been wearing sports bras with gauze when I go out and at home, cleaning with baby soap once a day and then saline twice a day but I'm wondering if when I'm home it's better for healing to let the piercings breathe? Or to keep them covered? Also if anyone has tips for speeding healing or making sure they heal properly please let me know! I also got my bellybutton done the same day so any tips for that would be appreciated as well as I've only ever had my ears pierced! Thanks!

Hi Fargonians, my girlfriend was very recently diagnosed with breast cancer that has spread through her lymph nodes. She and her rather large family are from Fargo so treatment in town was a no brainer.
We both work at a fine dining restaurant close to Duluth, Minnesota and that’s the kind of environment I enjoy working in. Does anyone have recommendations of places that really stand out? I’ve eaten at a number of restaurants in town and have applied at a few but if there’s any places that stand out to you I’d love to here it. I’m also a sommelier and looking for more front of house work but have experience in a kitchen as well.

So I know I’m only 6 days in but so far I’ve had very minimal symptoms. On my first day I was SO thirsty I could not drink enough water. Other than that, I’ve had zero nausea (which I’m VERY prone to on all medication basically), day 6 I’m starting to get slightly tender breasts. No real cramping no pain nothing else so far. I took my first pill on the day I was supposed to ovulate, so like day 12 of my cycle I think?
For context, I’ve previously tried Alesse and Loestrin Fe, and the copper IUD. On both combination pills I had horrible nausea (when I took the pill) right from day 1 that never really went away (over a year for both). I also completely lost my libido. Could feel zero sexual feelings which is super not normal for me. My period was worse, longer, more cramps etc. got off those and went on the copper IUD. That was fine AT FIRST but eventually after a few months I ended up in the hospital several times because I kept bleeding so badly and was in so much pain. Got it removed after a year and was birth control free for 5-6 years after that. My period went back to normal and has been 4 days at most, light to medium bleeding with cramps only on the first day or two.
Recently considered going back on the pill but was so scared that I’d experience the same side effects. I learned of Opill and decided to try it since it’s not a combined pill and only has progestin.
I will continue to update here as I progress through the next weeks/months for all the girls that had terrible experiences previously like me and are nervous about starting!

I have had reoccurring petechiae on my left cheek since July. It happened about once a month until September. I had my blood drawn then and I started taking an iron supplement (65 mg) with 500 mg vitamin c every other day. Since then, it has only happened about twice. Every time it happens the spots are less and not as bad as the first 2 times this had happened.
It only happens on my left cheek. When I bruise on other parts of my body, I do not get petechiae. My doctors drew a bunch of labs and the only thing that was remarkable was my ferritin was 7 in September and in November it was 46. I’ve seen my primary care doctor, a hematologist, and two dermatologists.
Medically, everything seems to be fine but it concerns me that this happens repeatedly. Since this has happened I have been only used Kate Somerville gentle cleaner or micellar water the either my fingers or a cotton pad followed by a light moisturizer. I don’t wear makeup often and I don’t believe any of my facial products are causing this.
I don’t sleep on my left side, don’t use any facial tools. I had about 20 closed condone acne spots in June on that side of my cheek and used La Roche Salic acid and it went away. No issues with it, but I am if the acne caused “trauma” to my cheek.
Health wise, I have endometriosis, but no history or any blood work shows a clotting disorder. I can post my lab results if this helps.
Medications: Pantoprazole 40 mg B-12 1000mcg Iron 65 mg every other day Vitamin C 500 mg every other day Mirena IUD
