Hi everyone, this is gonna be a little bit of a weird one but here goes.
Back in 2007/8 I received a letter from Centrelink stating that someone (my father) was trying to contact me, in the letter there was a suburb (maybe address?) and a phone number for me to contact if I so chose to. He would not be told if they were able to make contact with me or not and it was completely in my court whether I responded.
I didn't want anything to do with him at the time but have been thinking about it recently. The only problem being that since I've moved and my old house has been emptied by other people (who would have just seen this letter as junk), I no longer have the letter. (I thought I had moved it with me but it may have fell out of where I kept it š)
Do you think that if I called Centrelink they would have the details from the letter on file? Or if this was even a real thing that they used to do? Nobody I've mentioned this to believes me that it was a real thing lol.

Iām (29F) estranged from my parents, and looking back, I feel like I was unofficially appointed the ātherapistā for my family by the time I was 12. My parents constantly vented to me about their relationship problems, money struggles, or how they didnāt feel appreciated by each other. Theyād fight, then come to meāsometimes in tearsāasking for advice or validation.
If I tried to push back, Iād get guilt-tripped: āYouāre so mature, we can count on youā or āThis family would fall apart without you.ā But no one ever asked how I was doing. No one ever noticed how stressed I was, trying to manage the emotional fallout of their dysfunction while keeping up with school and pretending like everything was fine to my friends.
I went no contact last year after realizing that they only reached out to me when they needed something. My decision didnāt come lightly, but the relief I feel is mixed with guilt. Itās like Iāve been programmed to believe that if Iām not helping, Iām failing them somehow.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you deal with breaking out of the āfamily therapistā role? Do you still feel guilty when you set boundaries?

I can't find anything anywhere to help. I don't have any audio in game. When I launch it, I hear the nus sounds with the company logos and things, but then after I'm into the menu, there's nothing. Everything else is fine, set my default audio device, it's up in volume mixer, my drivers are up to date and everything else. I've tried checking game files and reinstalling. Nothing has helped. Please help
