Let me start by saying I’m not annoyed with them right now and absolutely love both (Burrow is the cities savior), but they talked several times in the media about Tee is a need we absolutely need Tee back etc etc. Talk like that would indicate Burrow is willing to renegotiate and Chase is potentially willing to not bankrupt the team with his contract. I’ll be annoyed if they talk the talk but then behind closed doors expect Tee to be the only one to take a cut while they take everything. Don’t get me wrong they absolutely deserve to get paid everything they’re worth and them doing so isn’t inherently wrong they should get their money, but don’t talk like that to the media seemingly acting like they’re willing to make some sacrifices then only expect Tee to be the one to make the sacrifice. Does anyone else feel this way?

I've gotten 3 emails saying to download it as the electronic version is available. My dashboard says its available. I've tried every link and it still says "available by end of January".... Customer service is a joke. We already ARE an LLC and have to file our US Fed statement in March... our accountant can't start until we give them all documents. And yes, we made waaaay more than the state and fed minimum to require one from Etsy. Wondering if ANYONE has actually gotten theirs... 2 days left in January. My accountant will not be happy if we can't give them a month to make the filing for March ready...

Hey folks. I’ve been in Raleigh since undergrad and now I’m coming up on my law school graduation. I love Asheville and western NC generally. I’ve been kicking around the idea of applying to some positions around Asheville/Hendersonville and making the move if all goes well. The problem is, I don’t have any ties to the area. No family, no friends, etc. I guess what I’m asking is whether y’all think it’d be a good idea? How difficult or easy is it to meet decent folks? What is the dating scene like for a person in their 20s? I definitely don’t mind downsizing from the Triangle in terms of urbanity since I’m originally from a rural town in eastern NC.

Hi everyone, I’ve landed to the US for almost 6 months now but I haven’t received the green card yet.
On December last year I filed a document to indicate my non-delivery of green card and they said I should wait for another 45 days. Few days ago, I still haven’t received the green card and I had an live appointment with them but they keep saying I should wait for another 45 days. What should I do now??? I’m really frustrating right now.

 | I’m a DACA recipient. I know I’ll get sympathy, hate, and encouragement, but I’m sharing my story to be heard and understood. I didn’t know I was undocumented until I was 16, when my parents told me I couldn’t get a real job or go to college because I wasn’t born here. I had lived in the U.S. since I was 5, learned English, and lost much of my ability to speak and write proper Spanish. I grew up listening to My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Eminem, Linkin Park—just like many American kids. I thought I was just like everyone else. Then, Obama passed DACA, giving me a chance. I went to college, earned a psychology degree, and became a psychiatric case manager. I worked with society’s most vulnerable—the homeless, those with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and addiction. I was assaulted, threatened, and yelled at by the very people I tried to help. Still, I kept going. I never took government aid, afraid it would one day be used against me. Every two years, I renew my work permit, pay $500, and pass a clean background check. And every four years, I live with the fear that this might be my last year of normalcy—that a new president could end DACA and deport me to a country I don’t even know. Now, with the Laken Riley Act, that fear is even worse. If this passes, people like me—DACA recipients, H-1B visa holders, even victims of abuse—could be detained and deported over minor offenses or unproven accusations. It means ICE could be called for something as small as a theft charge, even without a conviction. It makes me scared to exist, knowing that one mistake, or even being in the wrong place at the wrong time, could take everything away. Yet, despite everything I’ve done, some still see me as a problem. I’ve heard it before: Blame your parents for breaking the rules. Okay. Then what? I know some won’t care about my story, and that’s fine. But I wanted to share it—along with a song that might give someone inspiration or a glimpse into another person’s life.
