2025.01.18 05:21 zfr618 Freezing After End Game Boss, Guess I’m Done
Spoiler for a boss fight near the end of the game
So I beat Korshunov and Dalin destroys the C-Consciousness (I believe), and once I wake up to talk to Strelok and Richter, the game freezes and I can’t even close out of the game, I have to power off cuz task manager is hidden beneath the game window. I’ve honestly not been too plagued by crashes or anything, but after a boss battle that gave me grief I just wanna see the end and now I think I just have to call it. Might do some side missions working from an earlier save just to have something to do for a little bit, but it’s a shame I couldn’t get to the finish line. Anyone else experience this bug?

2025.01.18 05:21 Yeeboi309 I am incapable of feeling happy without having someone that means something to me around.
I’m getting progressively worse as the day goes on and nothing is helping. I go to therapy and I take antidepressants but it’s not getting better. I’m aware of a lot of my problems but I can’t do anything about them because I can’t think clearly enough to even begin. Tonight I’ve had the thoughts of self harm and that’s something I never think of but as of recently those thoughts have gotten worse and more tempting. I’m starting to fear for myself, I’m scared, I don’t want to off myself but I’m starting to feel like that’s the only fix to my issues.

Hi, I’ve been receiving vets annuity since 2022 and had a question regarding 2025 as far as if we are now required to apply yearly versus one and done. My last ETF payment was August of 2023 and for 2024 paper checks were mailed. I’ve just resubmitted and updated ETF form to try to go back to direct deposit. Hi all Planning to travel to Azerbaijan in early March. Plan is to rent a car in Baku and drive through the country as much as possible in about 8-9 days, with some nights spent camping.
I have seen the weather and yes it will be cold in Baku, but seems bearable.
What am unsure of is weather and road conditions outside Baku during March cold.
Can anyone please advise me if it sensible time to plan a road trip in Azerbaijan when I want to send a few (maybe one or two) in the capital city and then want to explain some remoteness, wilderness etc with occasional self camping?
And what must-go places, if any, would be certainly off-limits due to snow/weather conditions in Early March?

2025.01.18 05:21 Afk94 I've been cancer free for a year but no one knows I had it and now my grandmother might have cancer.
I was deemed cancer free a year ago today. For a long time I had intestinal pain that was sharp enough to the point that I would vomit and not be able to get out of bed. In 2023, I finally forced myself to get a scan and they found a cancerous polyp. Thankfully, it had not spread and I was able to get it surgically removed and treated without chemo or radiation. The thing is no one knew. Not my parents, my sibling, or my friends. I didn't even tell my girlfriend at the time because was a cancer survivor in medical school and I didn't want to add anymore to her plate. (Ironically enough, the day I got my diagnosis was the beginning of the end of our relationship, but I am honestly extremely grateful I never told her.) After my scan, I was scheduled for a colonoscopy but I was able to push it back for a couple months because I was dealing with ending my relationship as well as school. I know it was stupid but I wanted some semblance of normality for as long as I could have it. It has been exactly one year today. Literally no one knows other than my providers and anyone who reads this post. I simply told my family that I was having a procedure done and needed to be dropped off and picked up. I won't lie, it was extremely lonely. Every time I get even a mild stomach ache I panic and pray that it didn't come back.
Fast forward to today and I get a call that my grandmother is sick and in the hospital. Her pancreas is swollen and they think its pancreatitis but they want to check to see if it might be cancer. I don't anyone to know about my own experience, but I'm not sure if I'll even be able to face my grandmother. I want to be there for her as she's very important to me, but the more I heard about how it might be cancer, the more my heart sunk and the more nauseous I became. I decided to come to reddit because at least here I can be anonymous. Has anyone on here been in a similar situation? Any advice would help. Thank you.
