 | Ok, here's the context, and I know a lot of y'all will judge me, I know what I did was messed up, but that doesn't change what I felt for the person I'm texting here, who I'll refer to as H. Skipping a bit, I met H on Reddit and we started "talking." Eventually, we switched over to Instagram and that's where shit went down. Now, neither of us were single, both of us were in relationships which is where y'all probably judge me, but I did break things off with my boyfriend because of a multitude of reasons that I don't know if I'm allowed to say. We continued talking for a long while and I really felt things, not romantically, but I had a genuine connection. At this point, there had been 3 separate times where he was supposed to leave, but stayed, and I admittedly cried over the thought a few times. On the 4th time, he did leave. At first, he just logged out of his Instagram and was going to ghost me, but I contacted him on his Reddit and we talked. He pretty much told me that it was over, we wouldn't talk again and I expected that. Fast forwards 3 or so days and he starts sending me reels, which I don't see at first until he sends the first few messages in the pic. I know us talking was wrong, he was and still is in a relationship and I'm in a new, open one, but I can't help but feel hurt that, after trying to come back, he'd choose to leave. Am I overreacting or am I in the wrong here? 2025.01.18 05:11 SrryNoobi DP Cable Causes Low Resolution
Why I want to use a DP cable
- To play games on 180hz
- I'm using a monitor by CRUA. Device Manager shows it as "OTM27f165".
- When I use a DP cable, I only have the option of using 1024x768 or 800x600 as my resolution. Neither show up as recommended. On the bright side, I am given the option to change my Hz past 120, all the way up to 240. However, it is not worth the tradeoff.
- No issues with resolutions using an HDMI. The thing is I want to play games at 180Hz not 120Hz. I tried using a 2.1V HDMI cable, but I am still capped at 120hz (pretty sure this is normal as the montior's website on Amazon states the monitor can only support 120hz on HDMI)
- Using two different (1.4) DP cables
- Checking NVIDIA Control Panel for more resolutions
- Open to trying new things
- I'm assuming the monitor's DP port is broken and that the HDMI port is capped at 120hz. However, I'd be happy to be proven wrong :)
- I can try setting a custom resolution on NVIDIA Control Panel, but I'd have to assume that would cause some sort of latency
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
- AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor
- 32 GB RAM
- 500 GB SSD (30% Free)

Problem/goal: I had this friend nung senior high, and we got super close to the point na parang sisters na kami. Like hanggang ngayon na college na kami, bff pa rin kami. She knows all my secrets, and same din sa kanya.
Sila, mayaman. Kami naman, may kaya.
Napapansin ko lang, yung mga plans ko like magbenta ng food, mag-crochet, etc., nagagawa niya and she earns from it pa. Plus maganda pa siya and sumasali sa pageants. While me, I can’t even start kasi hindi naman kami super yaman and nag-iipon pa ako para doon sa plans ko.
I totally support her naman pero nakaramdam ako ng inggit kasi she’s achieving the things na ideas or plano ko palang. I’ve never felt this way towards her before. Ngayon lang talaga.
Gusto ko siya suportahan sa na-aachive niya ngayon pero how about me? Paano naman yung mga plano ko? Panonoorin ko nalang ba siya na maging successful habang ako nagreready palang gawin yung mga plano ko?
Any advice?

2025.01.18 05:11 bigDottee Stupid idea for a 4090?
I have a lead on a 4090 that has a burned connector. Even with travel time, gas, new PSU, and parts to repair the unit, I still think I’d come out ahead to drive all that way and repair the connector.
If you had a lead on a 4090 that was a “stupid good price” …. Would you make the 700 mile trip and try to repair it?
It’s effectively 1/4 the price of what I can find online new or used.
Tell me I’m not crazy to think of doing this?
