I started my K-pop news channel (focused on Shorts) on June 17, 2024. My content doesn’t include any music; instead, I use widely available fancams of K-pop idols and an AI voice to narrate incidents with subtitles. So far, I’ve gained 1.4K subscribers and 4.3M total views, as reported by YouTube Studio (2.1M public Shorts views and 54 public watch hours). I’ve uploaded 185 Shorts, with views ranging from 2K to 600K per video.
My initial goal was to meet YouTube’s eligibility criteria for monetization because, alongside my passion for K-pop, earning money was a significant motivation for starting the channel. I’m not a minor (I’ll turn 19 this March), so I believed this was a realistic pursuit.
Recently, I told a friend about my channel, and she said that K-pop-related channels can’t be monetized. This kind of discouraged me because editing videos and gathering fancams takes considerable time and effort. I admitted that if monetization isn’t possible, I might stop altogether. She then suggested I hand the channel over to her, saying she doesn’t care about money and just wants to edit for fun.
This left me feeling disheartened, but now she’s subtly pressuring me by repeatedly bringing up the idea of transferring the channel. She argues that if I stop uploading, the channel’s reach will decline. I've asked for some time to think about it.
Before making any decisions, I want to confirm whether this type of channel can actually be monetized. Is it true that this type K-pop content cannot be monetized?

That’s by far the worst distribution I’ve seen in a card set.

I really like PVE and just take no pleasure from killing other players. I have been playing for a couple of months, started out on random official pvp servers but gravitated to pve when i learned it was a thing so that i could learn crafting and survival, now I enjoy staying alive and rescuing new players. I have observed that there is vocal distain for pve from a lot of people and find it really interesting. Who out there digs PVE and why? What motivates You and keeps you interested?

So I got a cheap Epiphone special edition SG guitar when I was young, that only has one bridge slot on it with pre-determined intonation ridges. These ridges, though sound wrong once I get higher up on the neck so my guitar instructor told me to get a tune o matic for it, which I got for Christmas from one of my parents. The one that I got, though was for guitars that have two bridges which I didn’t even think of when asking for one. I tried looking for one online and I’m having a lot of trouble trying to find one. Does this exist or what should I do if it doesn’t?

I have looped so many songs for hours. Some songs straight up overnight on Spotify. Just one song repeatedly in a row. And when I check last.fm, it gives me an accurate stat, saying I listened to the song well over 100 times. I don't really like last.fm and prefer stats.fm, but when I check stats.fm, it tells me I only streamed the song 8 times. It's like that for a bunch of other songs too. Listened to a song 80+ times and it says I listened to it twice. Does it only include listens that aren't in a queue or what? Or is the app just completely bugged?

Intentaba utilizar la calculadora del MTSS para calcular la líquidación. Entiendo cómo se realiza el cálculo que es lo que uno gana al día y a eso hay que sacar los años trabajados y multiplicarlo por 20 días.
El problema que veo/tengo es que la calculadora no saca bien lo que gano al día, sino que saca mi salario semanal y lo divide entre 6 días, pero yo trabajo 5 días. Entonces, el salario al día es más bajo y lo que da liquidación igual. Tengo entendido que la liquidación trata de que uno reciba por cada año laborado un mes de sueldo.
Entonces, mi pregunta es: cómo funciona la liquidación en este caso? Se debe hacer por 6 días o es 5 días.
