My current setup: Wiim Ultra Streamer DAC, Schiit Loki Mini+ EQ, and Audio Pro Drumfire D1 Speaker. I want to add a preamp with a tube to bring some warmth and body to the sound. My budget is limited, but I still want good quality. I’ve narrowed it down to the Schiit Saga+ (or Saga 2) and the Dynavox TPR-3. Which one would you prefer? Or are there any alternatives in the same price range (max 600 euros)?

I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in technology in Computer Engineering field in first year from a recognised University. I wish to continue with Bachelors in Mechatronics (programme language in English) in Germany in the 2025 winter intake. I have given my JEE mains and Advance (did not pass advance). My queries regarding documents are:
- Do I have to give TestAS examination if I am in my first year of Bachelors in technology. If yes then then the results of nearest date of examination will be on 9 April 2025. If I apply after that date then it will take atleast 1-2 months for APS. Till that time the dates to apply for college will end.
- My first year will be completed in June month so I do not have the passing certificate yet.
- I have not passed the JEE Advance examination so I don't have the certificate of it.

Bin Mal wieder am überlegen und frage mich ob sich was anderes als Intensiv/Anästhesie, Stationsleitung und Praxisanleitungs weiterbildungen richtig lohnt wenn man nicht sicher ist ob man dort bleibt? Viele weiterbildungen Sind so spezifisch und viele kleines krankenhäuser haben halt keine onkologie oder Palliativstation und die weiterbildung war in der Praxis Gefühlt nur für den titel wenn man irgendwo hin zieht wos das nicht gibt. Oder nur irgendwo hin zieht wones das gibt. Lohnt sich da das Studium mehr, weil relativ unabhängig vom Fachbereich? Bin bei den vor und Nachteilen noch nicht ganz im klären.

2025.01.18 09:03 Significant_Buy_2301 Joke theory: Bioshock and FNaF take place in the same universe and it solves everything. SPOILERS.
Now, how can FNaF take place in the same universe as the Bioshock series? The two franchises are vastly different from gameplay to the storytelling to tone. One takes place in a futuristic underwater city where people gain superpowers because of an addictive sea slug, eventually going insane as they crave more and more. FNaF is a series taking place in a restaurant chain dealing with haunted (and eventually sentient AI) animatronics. They can't possibly be compatible!
And yet, the more I looked at it, the more things started to fit together. Bioshock and FNaF happening in the same world ultimately lines up very well and explains major worldbuilding quirks that FNaF has.
Point 1: The existence of the multiverse (constants and variables)
Now, in Bioshock, the multiverse plays a huge role and functions on the principle of constants and variables. Some things will happen no matter what and other things are completely unique. And this explains everything about how FNaF's multiverse operates as well.
We have the original novel trilogy or the movie for example. These are clearly in a separate continuity (AKA universe) than the games and the actual stories themselves are very different from what actually happens in the games.
In the movie, we have Vanessa working as a police officer- a different profession nearby a Freddy Fazbear building under completely different circumstances, under a completely different setup and in a completely different time period when compared to the games. And yet, Vanessa herself is still there. Constants and variables.
The same goes for everything else. The MCI will always happen, Afton will still exist and eventually get springlocked, becoming Springtrap. Henry will always be overcome with guilt (constant), but he either lives or dies (variable). Etc. Bioshock's multiverse logic is identical with how FNaF handles its alternate universes!
And it doesn't just stop at the multiverse, but thematic elements are identical as well.
Point 2: Thematic similarities
-child exploitation.
This world values children, not childhood.Both in FNaF and Bioshock, this is a huge story element. We have Afton who kills children for remnant in order to gain immortality and run experiments. In Bioshock, we have Little Sisters. Innocent orphans who have been corrupted and serve as a part of Rapture's "workforce", harvesting ADAM from dead human corpses. In Bioshock 2, we have Eleanor Lamb who is basically turned from a normal teen into a science experiment by her mother in order to create the true Utopian. In Infinite, we have Elizabeth who gets kidnapped and is forced to became a heir to Columbia.
- advanced technology
And this is where it really gets interesting. Bioshock taking place in the same multiverse as FNaF, essentially solves why the technology is so advanced in the latter franchise. Obviously it would be, because humanity in this shared universe has created sentient mechanical birds and human demigods that can warp reality as far back as the 19th Century!

So, basically, anything is on the table.
- The Thinker
In Bioshock 2 Minerva's Den DLC, we get introduced to "The Thinker". A self-aware artificial intelligence that oversees and controls the technical systems of Rapture. Said AI also has the ability to mimic humans because of its Personality Duplication Program and was made by a grieving husband who lost his wife. In the DLC, the Thinker hatches an elaborate plan to escape Rapture which is now on the verge of total collapse. Using his mimicking abilities, The Thinker gains the trust of the protagonist (his amnesiac creator) and is successful in escaping to the surface.
Sounds familiar? Because this is almost the exact same setup that happens with Edwin and The Mimic, down to the events of the respective DLCs with the only difference being that The Thinker is actually genuinely good and is implied to like humans, escaping with his creator and Tenenbaum, whereas The Mimic...well, we know.
If Bioshock 1&2 (+BAS) happen in the same universe as the main FNaF game continuity, that would make the Thinker the precursor to The Mimic, with the timeline even matching up nicely. The events of Minerva's Den happen in 1968 and The Thinker gets reconstructed on the surface at the very end of the DLC. The Mimic gets constructed in the 1970s. What if Edwin somehow got his hands on The Thinker's code and used it to create The Mimic?
Sure, Edwin says that he used a combination of Pascal and C, but we don't really know what The Thinker's code even is, other that it involved ADAM and Rapture technology (obviously). Edwin is amazed at how The Mimic is not just copying, but responding (which again, lines up with the Thinker). Plus, it would be ironic that the code of this genuinely good AI would eventually be used to create a monster.
- Human demigods
Right, so this is a weird one, but bear with me. Another major theme of Bioshock that we are starting to slowly see emerging in FNaF is essentially elevating humans to superpowered individuals/demigods.
Bioshock 1: Jack is specifically engineered to be a superhuman weapon for Fontaine,
Bioshock 2: Due to years of ADAM experiments and treatments, Eleanor Lamb has essentially become this, having powers without any negative side-effects
Bioshock Infinite: Elizabeth is essentially a multiverse anomaly that has the ability to manipulate multiverse tears to her liking (until she loses it in BaS)
And we are slowly starting to see this theme in FNaF as well. Case and point: Cassie, who with the VANNI mask is essentially able to manipulate the physical plane through interacting with the digital one. The very act of teleporting through the "white static doors" late-game is heavily reminiscent of Elizabeth's tears, especially with the implied negative side-effects.
Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for effects of antivirus programs on carbon-based life components. I'm gonna puke! How did I get over here?!Much like in Bioshock, people who aren't affected with the quantum superposition that Elizabeth has, end up experiencing negative side effects when tear-traveling (such as headaches, new memory formation, and bleeding nose). Something similar could be happening with Cassie, especially if Fazbear Entertainment is using Luteces' research for their VANNI network.

Right, so that should be it. FNaF and the Bioshock series take place in the same multiverse, potentially even in the very same continuity.
Which also means that by proxy, Bendy (which has a newspaper directly referencing Rapture) and Poppy Playtime (which has direct Rapture references as well) also could be very likely happening in the same universe. Oh, and System Shock also has an alternate version of The Mimic, so there's that.
