Hi all! Im very excited i found this community because i am considering getting my first system very soon and i have absolutelyyyyyyyyyy no idea where to even start. I know absolutely nothing other than im a real audio/music lover and that i want a really really quality system. I never have even heard of brands like bowers and wilkins until 2 weeks ago. So long story short I walked into best buy and said im looking for a phenomenal music system. After a little talking i told them i think id be willing to spend about 10k (if thats what it took, i had no idea and still have no idea if thats alot or a little in this world) They recommended to me this as a starter system, What does everyone think? They showed me one similar i guess it was an Older 700 series model tower speakers with one less driver i believe and it did sound very very nice however i have no real comparison against other excellent systems, especially another at this price point. My main questions are Is this a good system? What are everyones thoughts? Other brands to consider? Am i spending too much or too little and should spend a little more for way better potentially? By spending more how much better does it really get? Also lastly, i was showed the B&W 800 series of some kind, it does sound amazing. Will i regret not getting those? This is what they recommended: Bowers & Wilkins - 700 Series 3 Floorstanding Speate Tweeter On Top and Three 6.5° Bass Drivers (Each) (pair) Audio Quest - Rocket 44 10' Pair Bi-Wire Speaker Cable, Marantz - Model 30n Stereo Integrated Amplifier With blue sound node AudioQuest - PowerQuest 505 12-Outlet Power Conditioner & Non-Sacrificial Surge Protector They also recommended adding an REL S812 subwoofer next and after that some sort of center channel 10-20k budget Boston ma USA Room is 18x10. Long thinner room. However want this system to work well after i move out of this home into one with a bigger listening room Sitting 8 ft from speakers Digital primarily bur also vinyl No audio gear already owned that will be used THANK YOU ALL!!! Im trying to learn more but its so much idek where to start!

2025.01.18 05:51 Kaikaze I9-13900k Stress Test Throttling
 | I've been having constant crashes lately. My browsers keep crashing, and I have to restore the tab. I have also recently played a few games that freeze and crash on the desktop. I read online that it could be due to the entire Intel CPU overheating issue. So I checked my temps and throttling, and I saw this. I have done multiple stress tests with Prime95, CR23, and OCCT, TM5 over the last few days with no errors. I have been researching how to remedy it, but I can't understand how. When I find videos or pages on fixing this, I have some of the functions in bios but not others. Is there an easy way to reduce voltage or turbo mode, not sure what to do? Is it normal to get these results during stress testing? Some say it is, and others say it's not. Any help would be appreciated. Gente, pelo amor de Deus, PAREM DE SER CABAÇOS, eu juro, toda vez q eu entro no reddit pra ver uns memes, desestressar, eu tenho q ver um CORNO comparando Stellar Blade ou algum outro jogo asiático com jogos "woke" e falando coisas como "a indústria oriental sempre entregando o q a gente quer" e corta pra indústria oriental fazendo vc pagar 100 conto pra jogar o new game plus em Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth. Ta ficando insuportável já, a coitada da Tifa virou um símbolo tão forte do "anti woke" q eu comecei a jogar FF7 Remake ja com ódio dela.
Apenas joguem o q te interessa, se n interessa, se é mt woke pra vc, N JOGA, E N COMENTE, FINJA Q ELE N EXISTE. Eu real n entendo a dificuldade de só ignorar algo q vc n gosta, e até um certo ponto, vc pode achar q eu to sendo hipócrita, ja q eu tbm to reclamando de algo q eu n gosto, mas o problema é q eu n escolho consumir isso, o reddit, youtube e outras redes, só jogam isso pra mim, e n importa o quanto eu clique pra ignorar, o reddit manda mais e mais pessoas falando sobre como a cultura woke entrou na casa delas e bateu nas suas famílias.
Os caras tão usando essa cartada de woke apenas pra serem preconceituosos de graça, sendo q a representatividade, n é NEM DE LONGE um dos maiores problemas dos jogos atualmente, cheio de jogos pay2win, live services, jogos sendo lançados bugados, mundo aberto tão vivo quanto um cemitério, mas n po, vamos nos importar por causa de um pronome, CRESCE FDP. Existem sim, mts jogos ruins sendo lançados ultimamente, mas a galera pega o fato do jogo ser ruim e começa a reviver essa briga todo do woke e antiwoke e ignora o fato do jogo só ser ruim, Dustborn e Concord são os maiores exemplos disso, tanto q acabei de sair de um post de um arrombado burro comparando o sucesso de Marvel Rivals com o fracasso do Concord, falando q a única diferença entre os 2 é q Marvel Rivals n é woke.
Namoral rapazeada, só vamos parar, isso ta destruindo as pessoas no geral, a indústria de jogos passou anos juntando pessoas criando uma comunidade, pra do nada ir td por água abaixo pq acharam um espantalho pra chutar, apenas joguem o q queiram, e sejam felizes, vcs n são mascotes de empresas multimilionárias.

2025.01.18 05:51 Agent_Oxygen I am stuck in college placement and don't know what to do now.
I was selected in a WITCH company that starts with C for 4.25lpa and since then due to my college placement policy I am not getting any company mails for package less than 9lpa and now almost all the companies are coming for <9lpa which is very depressing as people now are getting higher package with better role and I am not even getting a mail. Even if I try to arrange the mail from a friend, the T&P cell removes me from the list of since nearly all my friends are placed with >4lpa they also don't get the mail.
I don't know what to do now, I also apply off-campus but not even once I have received any positive news and now only 5-6 months are left for my graduation, a placement with developer role would be nice.
