2025.01.18 06:52 Firsttimeroverhere2 Should I try consumer proposal, for only a couple of months?

Hi everyone, just wanted to see if anyone had any advice, was wondering if this is worth it or not.
I’ve been dealing with 30k of debt for the past 6 years. Only been paying the interest every month and have not been able to get it down. It only seems to get worse (was 20k at first and been steadily going up). I work full time, and I’m zero ing every month after all my expenses.
My credit score is currently at 615.
So here’s the thing, I am going to receive a significant amount in a couple of months (around 7-8k) which would correspond to the total amount that would be due with a consumer proposal. Meaning I would be able to pay it off quicker and would only have 3 years left with a bad score.
First question am I allowed to do this ? Or would this be flagged ?
Second question. Should I just use this amount to pay off a little bit of the card and keep going. This option makes me feel like I will be just delaying the inevitable again.
Third question. I have to move in a couple of months (I live in Quebec). I already have a low credit score but I’m afraid lowering it even further might make it very very hard for me to find a new place.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated !!!

Randomly had this thought, who do ya'll, according to the lore, think would be the most powerful warframe??
Personally, I think Gauss would be one of, if not the strongest Warframe. (The rest of this is a rant abt my choice, skip it if ye want)
I don't know if trailers are considered canon to the lore, but his Prime cinematic is (primarily) what lead me to this conclusion. In the trailer, he ouruns his own Acceltra rockets (which are likely at least nearly transonic), to the point of being able to push them around and redirect them. He also blitzes what is likely at least 60-80% of a Corpus base in about a minute- part of it being him not actually running for trailer reasons.
Because of this, Gauss can probably run faster than the speed of sound, maybe even Mach 1.5 or higher. He wouldn't even need to bring a weapon to a mission- just running ast the enemies would create enough of a shockwave to both send them flying AND rupture their eardrums (the latter probably wouldn't apply much to the infested, but I could be wrong). Basically, he could empty an entire ship in about a minute with nothing but his armor and limbs.

The souls game (including ER) would fall under the "low health, high dps" glass canon but the thing I'm actually looking for, the agility and faster movement, isn't really in them.

HII GUYS!!! I posted on here about a month ago about a foreign exchange student from Brazil I'm "seeing". After looking in your comments I deducted I think we're in the 'ficafica' phase or something like that? (Sorry it's late when I'm writing this!!) before we get into the update, here's reminders. For privacy, his name will be 'Brazil' in the story. He is a foreign exchange student and leaves the US to return to Brazil in June. His "host parents" aren't his biological ones!! Just the Americans hosting him for his year here. We are both the age of consent. He isn't a creep. And no, we haven't had sex (since I had to clarify that last time.) also yes, I can drive!! With that, here's the juicy teenage relationship/situationship you've been waiting for:
So since my last post on here we've been on two other dates/hangouts. This totals to 4 times going out. These last two times have been at his host parents house. Brazil has two VERY loud dogs (I'm not a dog person at all.) The first time I went over to his house I was extremely nervous!! I walk in and the dogs don't bark. Surprisingly. Nor do they scare me. I meet his two host parents (LOVE THEM!!!) and we all sit on the couch. His two dogs also join all of us, snuggling up and licking me. Which, Brazil and his host parents (we'll call them HP for my sake) were surprised the dogs were so calm with me. The entire two hours I was over we all just talked and hung out. Brazil would move hair away from my face, adjust my necklace, or just rub my knee as we all spoke. Now, here's where it gets weird. His HP ask me what was so different about Brazil. I respond with, "well he's very hygienic and isn't childish like these Americans-" which they all find funny and true. They reverse the question to Brazil (trying to embarrass him) and he responds with, "well she's not crazy." I found it funny! I'm assuming there's a stereotype that most Americans are crazy in Brazil? Anyways, So the rest of the night was hilarious and relaxed. Before I left he stopped me, grabbed my face and we kissed very passionately. Unlike the first two times, it was gentle and hopeful. He eventually pulled back and told me, "I wish we had spent more time alone. We're hanging out again, ok?" I laugh and very excitedly agree.
A week later!!! I come back to his house, saying hi to the dogs and his host parents. We both went upstairs to his room to watch a movie. At first we were just cuddling and watching the show. My head on his chest, his arm around me. The normal corny position! He eventually looked at me and I did the same and boom! Back to kissing. Eventually the kisses got heated YALLLLLL. 10/10. We didn't partake in the devils tango, but I was EXHAUSTED after yall!! The whole time he was VERY focused on me and making sure I was happy. (I was MORE than happy.) yall im talking he pushed me to my limits!! And vice versa!! So after all....THAT. I'm exhausted, literally about to pass out. He grabs my shoulders and lays me against him. He plays with my hair and rubs my arm, assuring me it was ok if I slept. And...sleep I did. It's important to know during the...actions. He was extremely sweet and tentative with me due to me being overly sensitive. I'm talking proper aftercare, kissing my forehead, and reassuring words. (I haven't had that in the past guys so 😖🙏) But here I am asleep on this man. He keeps whispering to me. Telling me it's gonna be ok and that he had me. He also whispered some things in Portuguese I don't understand. He never let me go the entire time I slept, he kept pulling me closer Infact. Eventually I woke up and had to leave. We didn't our usual goodbye kiss. And with that I was off. Now. Stay with me.
30 minutes after u got home, his biological mom started following me on Instagram. I don't follow his HP because according to him and his HP, his bio parents are VERY strict about relationships. I'm deep in Brazils following so there's no way she chose and random and ONLY followed me. I'm assuming he said something about me to them? I'm not sure...kinda scared to ask him!!
I asked the other foreign exchange girl about this (she's also from Brazil) and she said he's into me, but wants to take things slow. She also said if the parents followed me (eventually his dad did as well) it's a good sign. But, he leaves in a less than a year. He also is VERY popular in his hometown in Brazil. I know they're naturally flirty and social people but realistically I know there's probably another girl back in Brazil. So, I come here to you guys. Older people who have experience. Am I foolish to like this guy?? Am I wasting my time trying to date this guy? Is it too early to ask what we are? I mean we almost slept with eachother!! I'm just so confused about everything now. One day he acts like a normal teenage guy then the next he acts like this gentle caring saint. He's a GREAT guy...but I don't have it in me to be played again. I'll take anything harsh reminders. I need to be slapped back into reality. Thank you guys.
TLTR: Update from a previous post. Went on two more personal dates were one got slightly intimate. Bio parents followed me on IG but I have my doubts now. Am I stupid?
