We’re traveling from Prague (7 August) to Chur (11 August evening) and have 5 days to fill. We’re open to ideas and looking for the best way to spend this time!
Here’s what we’re considering:
- Munich (2.5 days): Stay in the Old Town, visit beer halls, Concentration Camp and explore.
- Munich > Innsbruck (1 day): Travel from Munich by train or car
- Innsbruck > Füssen > Chur (1 day): Visit Neuschwanstein Castle before heading to Chur, but this involves a lot of driving in one day.
What would you do with this time? We’d love your thoughts on our plan or completely different suggestions! 🚄🚗

 | I recently used the mobile app and it’s still buggy, they removed the easy delete feature where you can multi select, and they attempt to “optimize it” and just screw it up more. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed it more than I’ve had issues with it. I would love to go to a different app but they’re either ad filled, gooner apps I’m not gonna touch, or just bad in other ways. There will and always has been issues with the mobile app. I almost would stoop to the level of saying it’s the equivalent of Ubisoft fixing something but another thing breaking and when they add something new it’s either bad or buggy. In March of 2021, one of my closest friends ended her life. She had longstanding health, including mental, issues. She was devastated at the way her marriage was going, her health, and her career being greatly derailed by the shutdown.
I partially blame myself. I was so inundated by the grief of the shutdown, my career being paused, and obviously my own health shit (yes, mostly this disorder) that I don't think I did enough for her.
I never sent her a card.
I never sent her flowers.
I never sent her a care package.
I never gave her my cell for emergencies.
I never told her to contact me if she was desperate.
I didn't reach out enough.
When she seemed better, I believed it.
Survivor's guilt is real. I wish I had been less self-absorbed and done more. And maybe if I wasn't so preoccupied with this basic rabies of the brain, I would have realized that she wasn't doing well.
We were middle school buddies who reconnected after both losing our beloved broadcast jobs. She was my virtual penal. For just under a year, we would talk, joke, commiserate, listen, and prop each other up.
I really miss my friend.
It's hard enough to stay alive and not go apeshit with this garbage, absolute POS condition. Let alone be there for someone else!
If there's a heaven, and I hope there is, I hope she's there...and that she doesn't hate me. 💔

I (27m) have been in contact with a person (29f) since mid 2023 who said they saw that I was doing a bit of streaming on the side and offered to make a logo, emotes, banners and what not for around $500. I decided that at the time I would love to have things made since I was going to restart streaming.
Over the next year of communication (around April 2024), I received some ideas for logos, emotes and things like that, but I started to get asked to provide additional funds to support her in the creation. At first, I was more than willing to provide a bit of extra funds but things to a strange turn. She started mentioning that she was having troubles after troubles that caused the project to be delayed (like her mother needing chemotherapy, disk corruption, moving constantly) and each time she would asked to send up to $500 for helping her per issue. To not be rude, I told her "I wish I could help with her situation, but due to my situation, I'm not able to." (Around this time I was at a low paying job and had to save money for moving).
I didn't press for much information at the time but my gut was telling me things weren't right. I sent a message back in June of 2024 saying I haven't received any updates and I have been unable to get in contact with her. I also let her know that I felt like something was up.
Fast Forward to now (About 7 months later) and I receive a screenshot of something that has been in the works and how she lost her home in the wildfires happening in LA. And that only I knew her pain and that I should give her more money to support her through this time. This is where I lost it. I mentioned to her that I haven't received any updates since the last time we spoke and I felt as if she was just trying to scam me out of my money. I also let her know that she has used similar verbiage when asking for assistance when wanting to get more money from me. I ended off my telling her to stop asking me and to not ping me again.
Am I over reacting for not getting updates for 2 1/2 years, spending additional money on the commission, and feeling like I'm scammed?
Notes: I talked to a few people about this issue and they told me a commission of this level should take a year at most and something is definitly fishy with the situation. Alot of people I normally interact with say that I am too calm for the situation, but I don't like to be rude. I do however draw a line when someone uses serious situations for their wrongdoings.

 | I got this plant when I moved to a diff apartment to add to the interior design. I asked for plants that do well with minimal sunlight (indoors). But after I got it home, the leaves just started dying. I watered it as researched. Just to find out that it prefers distilled water or rain water. How needy! How does one even get such in Nairobi? It kept dying even after my attempts to add half a glass of blended fruits for nutrients (I’m new to this plant thing, but I do like what it does to your home). Also from research I saw that it could also be an infection. So I kept trimming off any dried leaves religiously and discarding away. After a while I completely gave up on it. Decided to relocate it to a place with sun (not too much), continued watering this dying plant. (Similar to our lives, sometimes even despite our best efforts, things just don’t improve and the crisis continues). However fast forward, deprive having plans to get rid of it and replace with another snake plant that does really well, but the inconvenience of having to carry it to the lift; then to the disposal area kept postponing the action…I just kept watering it…. 3 months later, this plant started to grow again. N I can’t explain why, but I got emotional and regained hope in my life. This plant clearly has endured a rough patch. But consistently placing it in the right conditions (our daily habits), suddenly it broke through. Some therapists recommend gardening, I couldn’t figure out why. But there’s something here… This plant, in its quiet way, gave me a profound gift: a reminder to never underestimate the power of small, consistent actions. It’s a testament to the idea that even when life feels stagnant or hopeless, growth is happening beneath the surface. Hello all, I'm concerned because our 5 month Shih Tzu started drooling excessively, like, soaking wet.
We already took her to the vet and she's staying the night there, but the vet told us that the only perceptible symptom is the excessive drooling and there's nothing more that could signal a possible poisoning scenario. The hematology came back normal, and they're waiting for other test results.
With that in mind, our apartment was recently fumigated for an ant infestation, but that was 2 days ago and our Shih Tzu was not present during the fumigation and for the remainder of that day in the apartment. We even took the toys and dishes out before the technicians came to avoid any intoxication.
Even after coming back to the apartment without her, we cleaned the floor tiles and checked everything that could be eaten or swollen and after that we took her in again. But out of nowhere our beloved Toffi started drooling a lot, and after 10 minutes of uncontrollable drooling we rushed her to the vet.
So, in your experience, is this a clinical scenario familiar to you? Or have you heard something like this happen and what prognosis was involved?
