Water companies intentionally make their water “hard” by adding calcium and magnesium to the water , which consequently causes issues such as limescale, as they also own the remedies to resolve these issues such as descaling treatments/calgon/ water softener machines/ filter machines etc.
Pretty sure this isn’t a UK only issue… but hard water is a such an annoyance where I live in the UK, and I think I know who is to blame! (/s)

One of the things we have built over the course of the year since we rebranded is our email list.
The idea behind having a great email list:
With an email list, it is considered free traffic to your clothing brand. The best part about it? It is hot traffic. This means that everyone that has signed up for our email list knows about our brand and have signed up to our community because they want to engage with our brand.
What we are currently doing is that we run separate ads on different platforms, where we send visitors to our funnels (Fancy word for landing page), where our goal is to get the visitor’s email. Once we get their email, it is now traffic that we own and don’t need to pay for in the future. The funnel is structured according to what type of traffic that is coming into the funnel. For visitors that do not know about the brand (Cold traffic), we send them to a funnel dedicated to them. For visitors that have heard about us, but haven't signed up, we send them to a funnel dedicated to them.
Basically, we structure our funnels based on the temperature of the traffic we get to the funnels. (Cold, warm, and hot traffic).
How do we execute when we sell our collections?
We simply run them through a workflow that we have created. We create a workflow of emails where we send them an email per day x amount of days before our drop. We speak about the collection, talk about why it is special, basically increase the value of our products. Once we drop, we send out emails to everyone on our list, and in return we are fortunate enough to sell out our collections.

How I learned this was reading Russel Brunson’s books, he is the founder of Clickfunnels. If you don’t know who he is, I would recommend searching him up. He talks about exactly this (among many other things) that can help you online business.
Having an email list can literally help any business. In this case, clothing brands. I think it has helped build our community. We are now working on building our following on socials and trying to make our organic traffic even better. We have a long way to go, but we are getting there.
Hope this helps/inspires some clothing brand owners out there. Building an email list can be super valuable, you just have to execute.

2025.01.18 08:53 Mysterious-Can-7265 I 18F hooked up and fell in love with mario 19M but last. night he told me he wasn’t actually 19.
This is my first post so please excuse how it’s written. I 18F recently broke up with my ex boyfriend 21M due to him not loving me. was super painful but i got over it, i went on tinder to meet new guys and just not be as lonely. i started talking to a couple of guys and even went on a date with a 20 year old but i didn’t feel it and actually the very next day a guy named mario 19M messaged me to go to his house. he still lives with his mom and brother so he had to sneak me in. he’s been trying to get me to come to his place for a couple of days at that point and i actually agreed to go that day. it was amazing he’s the perfect man and we did end up hooking up. the next day i went home and everything was fine. the two following nights i was sneaked into his house again and he even came to my place (i live alone) for a supper. i met him less that a week ago and he is genuinely perfect, funny, handsome, tall, good music taste, flirty, romantic, cute just the whole package. yesterday, which was less than a week after meeting him he messaged me saying „i need to tell you something“ me „oh no is it bad?“ him „it’s not bad but it might be a dealbreaker for you“ me „did you hook up with someone else?“ him „no“ me „oh i know you only want freinds+ and nothing more“ him „no, but i’ve started to really like you and maybe even fall in love with you a little so i need to be honest“ me „spit it out“ him „i’m not actually 19“ me „what are you 17?“ him „i’ll be 16 in 2 months“. my world shattered i broke down because i knew he was too perfect and something big was about to come i just didn’t expect THIS. luckily where i live people under the age of 16 can sleep with people with a 3 year age gap, so i didn’t do anything illegal. but he’s so young and it feels wrong. i know technically it’s not horrible since most people have a couple of years age gap with their partner and it’s not unusual for a woman to be older but this is crazy. i turn 19 in a month so if i did stay with him we would have to stop hooking up for a month until he’s 16 which us when he’s of age. I really like him he’s literally perfect but idk how to feel or what i should do and i need some unbiased advice. he also said he lied on his tinder profile because he wanted to meet ons‘s and knew no one would wanna be with him if he admitted his true age but that he never felt like this with anyone but me and didn’t even want more than a bit of fun but he started liking me and actually could see a relationship with me. he also said that he always hung out with his older brother 19M and his friends and couldn’t connect with people his own age. to conclude, i like him, but it feels wrong but then again it’s not that bad but it kinda is. what do you all thing is the best way to handle this situation?

One pretty close female friend who I see quite often due to proximal consequence, a boyfriend, an old friend from middle school I see once every year or so, a friend (?) who I met at the gym and I babysit her kids sometimes and we go out to dinner once in a while, and my former bestie—we’re not close anymore because his girlfriend hates my guts/sense of humor.
I get along with the aforementioned pretty close female friend’s friends, and boyfriend’s friends, they all like me just fine, but not many friends of my own.
Making friends at work is unlikely due to reasons. And I don’t pursue any group interests or hobbies, that makes platonic meet-cutes pretty tough. I’m not much of a drinker, and turning 30 this month makes me feel pretty old.
Boyfriend and aforementioned play rec soccer. Cool and nice people on the team. I have asthma and type 1 diabetes, meaning my sweet diabetic blood becomes dangerously hypoglycemic (seizures) when I do hella cardio (or even a little).
Any advice? My hobbies are writing, storyboarding, comedy, theater, art, debate, tennis, weightlifting, yoga, chess, and boardgames.
TL;DR I have few friends and struggle to meet new people. Just turned 30—any advice? My hobbies are writing, theater, comedy, and board games, etc.
