We are visiting Paris for the first time 2 weeks. We are traveling from London and are very used to the tubes in London and using oyster cards, or our credit cards for tapping in and out.
In Paris, it looks like they have the navigo card/pass, which seems like their version of the oyster card. I see that you can also purchase paper tickets at the stations, but I would like to avoid those as much as possible.
I was curious if anyone has recently used the Bonjoir RATP and/or Ile-de-France Mobilites app and what your experience was like. We are only there for 2 days and the first day will be focused on Zone 1 only. The second day is only for Disneyland, so I know we'll really only need the RER from Chatelet Les Hallea and back.

Would this be a dumb idea? I’m getting married August 16th and would like to sneak away to PR for a short mini-moon (~4 days). I know this is hurricane season, and generally not the ideal time to visit. We just love the island so much and it would be great to spend a few days there after the hustle of a wedding. I am not sure if this is the correct subreddit pero may idea ba kayo if yung PDIC insurance sa mga bank na 500K ay per account po ba or per bank? Say for example I have 3 accounts (2 Savings and 1 Payroll) and 1 checking account sa BPI, 500K insured po ba each? O 500K lang total ko sa BPI so dapat kong imove yung ibang pera sa ibang bank? Hi all, my prepaid Singaporean number expired as the plan was no longer supported by StarHub, so I need to go on a hunt for a prepaid number that allowed me to have an extended validity (90-180 days) on a single topup - not a monthly one.
I now live in Melbourne, so I don't need a Singaporean number for calls. However, I do need one for my Singapore banking transactions and SingPass (a form of identity app) where they need to send me a 2FA code to log in. So, I'll need to receive the texts in Melbourne from Singapore.
Anyone has any idea what the best plans are? I'm not in Singapore at the moment, but require a number urgently, so I can't order a physical SIM.
