 | Do my laptop is shutting down automatically after few minutes or maybe hours but abruptly shutting down. 1. I have recently cleaned my laptop and applied thermal paste. 2. I have recently updated BIOS to Latest version 3. Recently upgraded windows 11 Home to windows 11 pro . I have tried so many things already . 1. Cleaned laptop, renistalled windows 11 reverted back to orignal windows 11 Home. 2. Not installed any 3rd party software except HW info this time 3. Looked in events viewer for possible errors. 4. One error advised me that someone was remotely shutting down my windows like how I am not that important. 5. Already tried not connecting to internet if it so but no luck. 6. Disabled Fast startup 7. Ran memory test no issues. 8. Ran disk test no issues and disk health is 99% and 95 % 1st being os drive Samsung 970 evo plus. 9. Hw info not showed any thermal throttling. I (43M) had a good job that used pay me enough money to afford basic necessities.
Oliver (42M) was my best friend. We had been friends since middle school. As we grew older I never really understood how and when but he got addicted to gambling. After running out of his own money he started asking me money. I gave him money to see a therapist. I agreed to take entire care of his treatment.
Later, by some friends I found out that the money who I thought I paid to a therapist was not actually a therapist but someone who did gambling with oliver.
Now this money if saved could buy me a car so, I thought about reporting to police but I knew that they wouldn't do anything because I had willingly given it to him.
The debt was substantial so I planned my move
Oliver's mother was single. I decided to take her to poundtown after matching with her on tinder. I shared my arousing conversations with her to him and threatened him that if he didn't didn't pay me back he had to call me dad at Thanksgiving.
This largely inspired him. He went out of is way to pay me back the debt and I heard he got over his gambling addiction too

Please give advice (slander for buying an ecoboost is acceptable)
- Bought in September 2024, dealer said timing belt has changed. 2 weeks -> timing belt goes -> under warranty dealer replaces engine (was 80k, now 24k). 4 months later -> low oil pressure -> RAC man says likely due to timing belt degrading / clogging oil pump -> tow back to dealer as he has 12 months warranty on engine he replaced it with.
- Car is currently sat at dealers, am I entitled to a refund from what I wrote above? Googled consumer rights, 30 days to 6 months, can request repair or replacement of vehicle. If repair, one chance to fix vehicle (he replaced engine, now something with engine has gone wrong again), and can get a refund, reduced by usage of car (about 3000 miles). Anyone had similar issues / know how to ensure a refund etc.?

So , I just finished the dlc and am trying to piece things together. In terms of timelines I've gotten this far.
- Metyr is sent to the lands of between by the greater will
- She arrives to see the land is fertile / promising and lets the greater will know
- Elden beast comes on basis of this information
- this is rougly around the age of dragons.
- fingers plant the seeds for the erdtree to grow out of the great tree
- Placidusax is chosen as Elden Lord, dragons are seen as dominant and kick ass all over the lands
- placidusax' god (the greater will perhaps?) leaves , no more Elden Lord
- greater will needs a new Elden Lord, meanwhile Marika is being slapped around by the hornsent
- Marika is shown to be an empyrean, selected by the greater will and ascends to godhood at the divine gate
- she instructs messmer to burn the fuck out of the hornsent
- meanwhile Marika goes to lands between and rules. Meets Godfrey, they go on their campaign. Godwyn, mohg and morgott are born
- Godfrey's hue disappears, Marika knows something is off with the greater will and starts orchestrating the Tarnished plot. Sends Godfrey away
- meanwhile radagon and rennala do their thing and conjoin after a number of wars. Rykard, Radahn and ranni are born
- Marika calls radagon back as she knows he is loyal to the greater will / golden order. She wants to conjoin them to control him when she eventually smashes the Elden ring (she was already plotting this)
- they conjoin, miquella and malenia are born. Era of relative happiness / stability but Marika keeps plotting
- night of the black knives occurs as ranni as her own plot as well
- ostensibly out of grief (but this was plotted all along) Marika bashes the fuck out of the Elden ring as she knows the order of things is wrong / off. Decides to "let the best person win" in a sort free for all
- shattering occurs. 5 plots arise; ranni and Godwyn are (the latter unwillingly of course) involved in one. Mohg, miquella, malenia and Radahn (mojg and Radahn also perhaps unwillingly) are involved in the DLC plot. Morgott has his own reasoning / plot and just wants to defend the erdtree. Rykard has his thing with his familyyyyyy. And finally there is the tarnished plot as orchestrated by Marika all along.
- we kick ass and become Elden Lord

Years ago, I (50f) could happily go to work with a cold, but now it really knocks me out. I’ve had 2 colds this winter and I’ve needed time of for both. I have arthritis in my c-spine, causing a lot of nerve pain in both arms. The current cold I have has me coughing constantly which seems to have strained the muscles in my neck and shoulders.
