Last night was the first night my baby didn’t wake up needing me in the middle of the night.
For context, he will be 5 months old next week and we have been struggling through the 4 month sleep regression BIG TIME! I mean waking every single hour for a whole month!
Last night he didn’t wake at all, in fact I picked him up twice to check on him and offer him a dream feed. This all sounds amazing, but here’s the kicker: he’s sleeping so well because he’s rolling on his side and belly.
At our last pediatrician appointment our doctor mentioned that because he started rolling, he might do this. She said it’s ok and I don’t have to wake him to roll him onto his back every time. Even though she told me that, my anxiety is telling me otherwise. I’m so afraid that I’m going to take up to a dead baby because of SIDS. They’ve always told us back is best.
Does anyone else’s baby side or belly sleep? I would love to hear your positive stories, and hear some reassurance that it’s ok!

It came with built in stomp spikes between the bindings and the bottom is all black with a white/orange skull face that is missing the bottom jaw. Id love to know some more details, has held up extremely well over the years after being used about once or twice a season.
