Just want to preface this by saying, I have already been in contact with medical professionals about looking into other med options, but I'm just curious to hear the experiences of others and if they relate to mine.
I have ADD (got my diagnosis when that label was still used) and I've been on Elvanse 30mg for over a year. Before being medicated, my main symptoms were poor ability to do unpleasant tasks, forgetting and misplacing stuff all the time, and struggling with executive function, especially with things like cooking or cleaning (like what steps I need to complete in which order).
I've had a consistent experience where during the first 2 hours the medication works well. It gets me motivated to start tasks I've been putting off, and the constant mental rebellion is reduced. I also feel like I can multitask, and don't leave a huge trail of mess behind me. I can just put stuff back to cabinets and drawers right after use as I'm preparing food or cleaning. In the past my cleaning was basically just making more mess during the cleaning lol.
However, after the first 2 hours, I start to get EXTREMELY persistent and stuck with whatever I'm doing at the time. Sometimes I get lucky and it's something I was supposed to do, like work (I work from home), chores or a personal hobby I planned to do that day. But other times, it's stuff like researching topics that I know aren't really valuable to me in the grand scheme of my life. I'm not opposed to that as it can be fun and relaxing, but it should be something I do on a break or in the evenings. Also with work and other responsibilities, I might get stuck on insignificant details for hours. It feels so difficult to redirect my attention to anything else until the medication wears off.
I try to eat as well as I can, I know low blood sugar can make it worse. Same thing with hydration or sleep. I do notice the side effects are worse a week before my period too, I wish more research existed on that.
I've always had an issue with perseverance even before being medicated, but going into a hyper focused state happened less often. For some people task switching and mental flexibility become easier on Vyvanse/Elvanse, but for me it's often the opposite. 30mg is supposed to be a low dose but maybe it's too high for me, since I get the positive effects when the medication hasn't even reached its peak yet. It's also possible stimulant medication just isn't for me.
My question is, have you experienced similar effects? Do you have other diagnoses such as OCD or Autism that you think may affect how you react to the medication? What is your personality like, are you detail-oriented or prone to perfectionism?

I'm curious to know what you think of this. I've worked in Tesco since the first lockdown. I was self employed for a number of years before so it was a while since I worked for an organisation with bosses. My first store manager was a hard worker and grafted and was part of the team. He cared about his colleagues and was genuinely sad to leave. Our next manager is, you could say very corporate and ambitious and has not gone down well. We've had a massive change in staff and it's been a bit of shock to get used to all the changes. I understand that the bottom line is that Tesco is a money making business but the whole atmosphere of the shop has changed and not for the better. I'm very much a people person and care about my colleagues but I'm also feeling like I'm just a number. I guess it's probably a store lottery of what type of management you get.

Remember when Eight Sleep sold us the dream of having the "smartest bed"? I do and all I've seen function after function either die off and never get fixed, never get implemented in the first place, removed all together or locked behind a pay wall.
It's been months since this feature was even available but it would be getting close to a year since it was even functioning properly at all. With no sign from the company on when or if it will ever be fixed.
BUT the marketing team seems to have an endless supply of money to throw at me with never ending email promotions for hundreds of dollars off a new pod if I want to upgrade or a steady stream of sports stars and influencers who are still willing to throw their name behind the brand for a few bucks.
Wake up Eight Sleep the age of AI search is here you won't be able to hide from your unfulfilled promises for much longer. Spend 3 minutes on perplexity or GPT search and use the words "common user complaints" and the words eight sleep and just see the litany of information that gets returned.
This how the world will judge you moving forward. And right now it doesn't look good.

Leanne. From her strong introduction in the premiere, continuous content even when she’s not relevant, the storyline of hiding that she’s a soldier, she always gets a confessional to try and explain when she reacts to things too aggressively, and then in the most recent episode it really felt like her personal backstory was highlighted more than anyone else’s, complete with Frankie giving a confessional telling us how lovely Leanne is.
I think the person hanging from the helicopter is probably Leanne based on the scream that we hear, so I think either Joe or Jake is the next to be murdered.
So how does Leanne win? I think she tells Minah that Charlotte has been saying her name, and when Minah goes after Charlotte in return it is obvious to Leanne that they are both traitors. She could team up with Minah to take out Charlotte, and then banish Minah at final three, winning the game with the other remaining contestant (most likely Frankie or Alexander.)
