I am MtFt?. Have socially transitioned since 2017 and have been on HRT since 2021. About a year and a half ago I settled into a more masculine/nonbinary identity and have completely let go of my identity as a trans woman. Something that I've really been struggling with lately is dating, more specifically who I date. Living as a trans woman, I got used to dating men who are into women (before anyone says this was NEVER a reason why I transitioned in the first place). But now things are obviously different. I can't date men in a "straight" way and my dating pool is men who are into other men/masculine people.
I know there might be some internalized homophobia and relearning this side of dating in there but was wondering if other gay detrans men out there have advice

I’ve never had much luck in love, dating or finding people to date (whether in real life or on dating apps). In fact, I’ve never been in a relationship, except for the odd fling here and a short-term arrangement there.
So, I (28M) was pleasantly surprised to match with someone (31F) on Bumble who seemed worth getting to know. From her profile, this lady came across as humble, grounded, and elegant. Of course, this was just my impression off what she put on her profile.
To give some context, most of my past matches fizzled out after the usual “Hi, how are you?” or ended when I realized I wasn’t genuinely interested. This time, I got a bit further - we exchanged locations, jobs, hobbies, etc. The more we talked, the more interested I became in finding out more about her.
But the conversation was pretty dry and very slow. We’d exchange about two messages every 24 hours. It took about 10 days just to learn basic details about her. I managed to move the chat from Bumble to Instagram, but the dynamic stayed the same. Still, she kept replying, even if it took a day.
Given the lack of flow, I expected her to ghost me then, but she didn’t. I matched her energy and kept going with her flow. Eventually, I decided to ask if she’d like to meet up, thinking maybe she’s better at talking in person or at least to just get a clear outcome. Her reply? “I will not be in town.” I didn’t push further to ask if she was traveling or just unavailable. I suggested meeting the following week, and since then, no response. (Ghost, this is OP. hello Ghost, I’m OP nice to meet you!🤝)
She’s not active on Instagram anymore—either deactivated her status so I won’t see her online, or restricted me but she hasn’t blocked me there or unmatched on Bumble.
This has been frustrating, perhaps a damaged ego more than anything. I didn’t pin all my hopes on this, and I’ve stayed grounded and in the present. But I cannot deny that as my first real match and convo I at least hoped for a response to my meeting proposal.
My therapist always said “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket” and I agree. But in this case, I haven’t had any other matches since, so it’s kind of hard to put that advice into practice.
Some lingering questions remain on my mind:
- Why start a conversation on Bumble (where women initiate) if you’re not interested in continuing it?
- Why not just block or cut me off instead of leaving me hanging like this?

Hi guys! My husband and I are leaving for Oahu next week for my company retreat with 7 other couples. This is our first time visiting Hawaii and we are so excited. We will be staying in Ka’a’awa on the West side on a large rental property. I was just checking the weather today and saw that it’s looking mostly cloudy/rainy. Since I have company trainings in the morning, we are limited on free time. We are wanting to mostly do hikes, beach, and Kualoa Ranch. Is the weather going to allow us to do all of that, or should we start planning other activities? Also, we’re coming from insanely cold weather in West Texas, so I absolutely have NO idea what to pack…suggestions welcome!

I was an atheist / free thinker.
It happened to me few months ago when I was tripping on a Delta-9 gummy and just rooting around in my past poking at various childhood traumas. One trauma that I finally acknowledged. After that, suddenly a ball of light popped in my mind. The light was overwhelmingly benevolent, radiating with love and compassion. I was bit freaked out by this experience and thought my mind was playing tricks on me. I was in denial but am mostly convinced now that I might had an encounter with a being of higher power from another dimension after reading The Physics of God.
I suspected I had anthropophobia and anxiety caused by childhood PTSD. Anthropophobia vanished but I still had anxiety attacks for few months but it seems to have stopped completely. I was addicted to gaming, digital content and MMORPGs but no longer feel as addicted. I felt like my nearly depleted battery was recharged fully from this encounter.
Any thought on this?

so i pulled the trigger on a top spec Ryzen 9, GTX 4070, 64gb, 2tb laptop for tablet drawing and video editing.
did not realize it wasnt the same convertible tablet as the PX13... and then also finding out there are now graphic tablets with display that fits my needs a lot more.
im looking for suggestions on dedicated laptops that has similar spec with - Ryzen 9/ultra 9/i9 - dedicated graphics - (upgradable to) 32gb OR 64gb - upgradable storage. - no touchscreen since thatll just baloon the price. - smaller screen for portability 13-14" (maybe even 15)
i guess bonus if its something carried by Best Buy since i prefer to have their Total Care package since im not sure what other places carry that type of warranty.
