Maybe I overreacted but hubby made a comment late last night about the bottom bin in our garage frig being flooded and asked if I knew what the black case was that was now submerged in that bin. He had seen it earlier and forgot to mention it to me (he does have memory issues so had also forgotten that it was my 6 month stockpile of Tirz). The case isn’t water proof so the vials were floating in it. I don’t know for how long, but dried them off and put back in the frig. Embarrassingly, I also raged a bit. My shot is due today and I often get edgy/moody towards the end of the cycle. In tears I told him that agonized for months before putting out thousands of dollars for this stash that I hoped would take me to my goal and maybe even significantly into maintenance as I titrate down. He tells me the vials are surely sealed and fine, but I don’t know. Are they? Has anyone had experience with unopened vials submerged in water for probably at least several days?

I switched to Fossify for the basic apps like phone, contact, SMS, gallery and stuff over the last days/weeks after starting my degoogling journey as a complete tech noob. So far I am really happy with the apps and didn't miss anything. But I am confused about one thing in the contacts app. Most of my contacts were saved on my Google account. So I sat down and went through all of them to switch to the phone storage instead to try to get rid of Google a bit. I did this for every contact, but when I was finished and checked the overview, it had changed them all to the option "default" instead. It says 0 contacts saved on phone storage and all on "default". Can someone explain to me (if possible, in a very simple way because of the tech noob), what this default category is? Where exactly does it save my contacts? And why can't it save them on the phone storage? Saving to the SIM card was sadly not even an option for the save location, but I could live with saving it to the phone. Thanks for your help and these wonderful app alternatives!

2025.01.18 12:30 chorl Is it possible to use LSFG with Magpie for smooth anime playback?
I used SVP Pro in the past, with Anime4k shaders in MVP for watching anime in my 4K OLED TV, because OLEDs have the "sample and hold" issue for smooth playback.
But that solution is no longer possible when using web sites (like crunchyroll).
So I tried other solutions, like LS and Magpie. LS provide smooth playback with LSFG, but upscaler with Anime4k doesn't look as good to me as others solutions, like Magpie.
Is it possible to mix the solutions, Magpie for upscaling and LS for LSFG? I wonder if shaders can play nicely using both solutions.

We are visiting Paris for the first time 2 weeks. We are traveling from London and are very used to the tubes in London and using oyster cards, or our credit cards for tapping in and out.
In Paris, it looks like they have the navigo card/pass, which seems like their version of the oyster card. I see that you can also purchase paper tickets at the stations, but I would like to avoid those as much as possible.
I was curious if anyone has recently used the Bonjoir RATP and/or Ile-de-France Mobilites app and what your experience was like. We are only there for 2 days and the first day will be focused on Zone 1 only. The second day is only for Disneyland, so I know we'll really only need the RER from Chatelet Les Hallea and back.
