If someone asks me whats the most useless thing in the college i would say without a second thought it would be NCC. and even more useless and absolute worst people are the rank holders. Yall might say im overreacting or i could have just called him out on that behaviour but i was literally so shocked i couldnt react
So we were having practice drill in that class and tbh i was making some sort of mistakes in the marching thing and i get nagged for that. i keep in mind and try to improve where i lack. My senior(rank holder) he was pinpointing my mistake like "youre doing this wrong here" and theres another senior of mine idk he has some sort of issue w me probably. So he interrupted and said to him "maar de usko bhai" in a frustrated manner. i felt like bursting into tears and was so shocked to even react when he like said something so casually!
and then before i could even react they dismissed this thing and went on continuing the class. like its not a petty issue saying insensitive stuff like this that too infront of everyone.
I told my parents about this and they asked me to confront him and tell him if he says something like this again he will face serious repurcussions.

Hey all,
Some background:
I’ve been working for about 8 months now (4 months as an intern, then converted to full-time) at a large MNC whose main product is a CMS with many integrated tools. My title is "Software Engineer," but my job is to handle tickets raised by developers using my company’s CMS.
These tickets involve various issues related to development with our product. My job is to debug, reverse-engineer, and figure out what’s causing the problem. Some issues are simple, but others can be pretty complex and require a solid understanding of code, technologies, and how they interact.
I don’t enjoy my current job as much as I thought I would. While support engineers aren’t “lesser” than developers, this isn’t the kind of work I want to keep doing and I prefer development more. I originally took the role because the salary was much higher than my other offers (about 60% more than dev roles I was offered as a fresher).
Now I’m worried that this role has pigeonholed me. I’m not sure what I don’t know, so I don’t know where to start if I want to apply for a developer position. What do I tell interviewers about my experience and why I want to switch jobs? Will I have to take a big pay cut to move to a dev role because I don’t have much hands-on development experience?
Or are the problem-solving and semi niche technological skills I’ve gained here valuable enough to developers? My current salary is in the range of what a 2-year developer at local companies would earn. So why would they hire me when I don’t have that same development background?
Should I be honest during interviews, or should I stretch the truth about my experience and try to pick up as fast as possible on new jobs?

Quick run down. I had a friend very much involved in crypto. They essentially got me interested, but i didn't know anything about investing in it. What ended up happening is he would invest some money into bitcoin for me and just keep a few points as he called it when I wanted to cash out. I invested at 8k the coin went up I asked to be cashed out repeatedly which he claimed he did when in fact he hadn't and put my investment into some hedgefund and lost everything he had including my investment. Now I didn't learn about this for months and months down the line after I had caught wind of him losing everything. His words were he would pay it back with profits. Let's just say he has evaded and changed his Fb account where we talked about the initial investment and crypto. Now bitcoin is 100k and I'd like to be paid. The initial investment was made in 2019. This friend is not a licensed investor so I'm trying to figure out what I can do with what kind of lawyer since this isn't some small claims kind of situation. I do know now it was illegal for him to act as an investor without a license. What do I do

Hi everyone. I have some feelings I need to get off my chest and none of my friends have ever been Mac fans or listened to his music with the same intent I have done the last 10+ years. So here I am, and I hope to find some like minded people that can understand and appreciate my train of thought.
English is not my first language so sorry if I sometimes can’t get this across the right way!
Since his passing, for some reason I have a hard time listening to his music. I never had that before with an artist and I don’t know where it comes from - I guess it has to do with that I always resonated with Macs view of the world and his feelings.
Then there is Balloonerism - probably the last “new” music we ever get to hear from him. So you can understand that besides me feeling extremely excited, I also felt a melancholic. I made sure I was free last night and made myself a cocoon in my bed and put my headphones on, light out and went for the full immersive experience.
I felt pretty distant from the music (I normally listen to a new album a few times before it all truly hits) and then came Excelsior…
I immediately started crying.
The song hit my right in the feels. Hearing the children. Hearing him laughing and joking around. It made me so sad but also so happy. For some reason I imagined him up above playing wizards with the people up there. It made me feel as if I need to enjoy life more, not only because it’s more fun that way but also because life can be over in a heartbeat. It also made me realize that it truly breaks my heart that Mac is dead. My mom always said to me and my brothers that people go when it’s their time but sometimes you wonder why.
The album will have a special place in my heart. And I’m glad I took the time to properly listen too it. I’m only on my second full listen so I imagine more emotions are too come haha. Never imagined myself to be so emotionally invested in someone’s legacy and music.
