We’ve never done much to finish this room. Dimensions are 16’x18’ with about 20’ ceilings. The opening from where the 2nd picture is from is about 9’ wide. Got my parents the tv last Christmas and gave them the year to buy some furniture for it, but I’m going to have to take that on as well. Open to any ideas for how to best layout any new furniture, the tv, coffee table(s) etc.

I feel like I meet the same stupid infinites every game. Even in normal you can’t play around with fun comps because you get obliterated by tryhards playing the OP comps every time. Is it just me or is it a general problem of the Game.
I just want to find some fun synergies… I’m actually at a point where I’m genuinely happy to loose to a legit comp that is well thought through and has no stupid infinite in it.
I don’t know what to do but to wait for a patch that hopefully fixes that. Until then I guess I have to wait or end every game mad. Because playing these comps is no option since I exactly know how it feels to loose to that sh*t.

I started a state job in mental health facility. I like it but I can’t do 5 eight shifts. I come home tired, I can’t do much (also have 3-year old). By 9pm I am exhausted and falling asleep without cleaning dishes from dinner or picking up toys. I feel like a hamster going on that wheel in circles. Waiting for one day off that flies by (I am off every other weekend and then alternating Tuesday and Thursday).
Pros: I have a pension with this job (vesting 10 years) Pay is on the high end for my state My floor is very mild, we never do admissions or discharges (long term patients) Rarely anyone is aggressive Coworkers + patients are good. I started RN career later, not much saved in 401k from previous jobs, thus pension Lots of holidays 13 per year that can be accumulated and used whenever. Unlimited overtime
Cons: 5 eight hours shifts Only 10 days of vacation for 5 years (then 15 and then 25) My floor is overstaffed so we are floated constantly. It gets hard when you never done admission before and a new floor has admissions. Paper charting (sometimes is a plus) Everything goes by seniority so I get vacation after everyone picks their option (usually a month I don’t want). Mandatory overtime sometime.
I am thinking of going back to 3 12 hours with some EPIC charting system and more modern facility. But I feel like benefits are too good here comparing to anywhere else, plus the pay is better here.
Retirement is important but I have at least 25 years left to work and I miss having 4 days off to do what I needed to do.

2025.01.18 18:21 notdoreen B450M-A II gets power but won't power on
I just got a ASUS Prime B450M-A II AMD AM4 for a server build.
I'm pairing it with a Ryzen 5 5500, an RX 5700 GPU, and 64GB of DDR4 ram. The PSU is an EVGA with 550 W. All components are brand new.
The motherboard is getting power and the orange LED is on.
When I first built the system, I was able to power it on and boot into the BIOS with no issues.
I powered it back off and added an SSD with an OS to start testing further and that's when the problems started.
Suddenly when I press the power button, the PC will only stay on for a split second. The power LED flashes, the fans spin and then, nothing. The orange LED from the motherboard stays on so I know its getting constant power. I just won't stay on for more than 0.00005 seconds.
I have tested with a different CPU, no GPU and no SSDs.
I tripple-checked every cable and removed + reapplied everything. I even removed the motherboard completely and found an extra standoff screw that might have been touching the back of the mobo. I removed it and tried again, but still getting the same result.
Given that al the components are new, and work on another computer, I've narrowed down the issue to the motherboard but have no clue if its something I can fix or if I should return it.
To clarify, the mobo won't post, so I'm not getting any beeps I can look into.
Thoughts?

I just set up my account a week ago and just realized I didn’t put in my paypal information so it wouldn’t let me start doing tests. well I forgot my paypal username so I changed the password to a hamster I had when I was 5. It was just a random name to think of. after I logged in and went to my profile. my username is now the hamsters name with the first initial of my last name.
Is this normal? l should definitely delete my account right?
To be clear I did not type my old hamsters name into anywhere other than the paypal password section and it’s not my password or anything related to any other account I’ve made before.
