Hello good people of Scotland Reddit. We are having a bit of a challenge finding affordable accommodation for the night of June 7 in Edinburgh. Clearly something is happening that we are not privy to. We will have been 3 weeks in Scotland and our flight home leaves Edinburgh at 9am on June 8. Everything seems to be about 350 to 400 gbp for the night. This is about 700 for Canadians which is just too much for us. Is it possible to travel from Glasgow to Edinburgh airport very early Sunday morning by transit? Is that a viable solution to our situation? Thanks for any guidance.

The Frogs lack of need for housing seems initially good, but the way it interacts with some of the Forest Mysteries can be a real game ender. Does anyone have any advice on how to stack the deck in my favour regarding Frogs? Is it just "take stone and cross your fingers"?
I just feel like maybe I'm missing something and could use any tips. Bless.

I don’t know why, but when I think “the female prime”, I immediately picture her and call her “Nova” in my head. I then have to actively think “No, Nova is the evil white Optimus lookalike who came after. The female one is SOLUS”

I have only used Instacart thru local stores that contract with them but my friends use them a lot so I am very familiar with them. I applied for a driver position (I work 40+ hours & go to school so job flexibility is a must), was put on the waitlist but was contacted a few days ago. I scanned my license, did the selfies, & verified my email & then got a message on the app saying my account was deactivated & I’d get an email but never did. I emailed them & got no response. Does anyone know why this would’ve happened? I never even got to the background check but I’m totally clean, never arrested & not even a ticket.

Disclaimer: I am just one fan, obviously, and I can't speak for other viewers of the show. This is my gratitude post to the production of Castlevania Nocturne, the writers, directors, producers, and animators.
To the team of Castlevania Nocturne! It may not mean much, but as a queer and hispanic/latin individual, with a family of people from various cultures, I want to say thank you, as I am truly so grateful and wowed by the beautiful details and work you put into expanding this world.
I'm a HUGE fan of Castlevania, the games and shows, and also a huge vampire-lore/fantasy-lore buff across all kinds of franchises. Castlevania Nocturne pushes boundaries in various ways, with the animation and visual designs being absolutely beautiful, the storyline playing around with villains and characters in cutting-edge ways, but most of all, through exploring the mythos, spirituality, and religious references to European, Meso-American, Caribbean, and African pantheons and lore.
You have quite literally, created a work of media that has never been attempted before in animation, at least not to this caliber. And while many so-called "fans" can try to hate on these types of inclusions and expansions, I want to thank you for your attempts to create a rich world of magic and fantasy that goes beyond the recycled tropes of historical Euro-centric lore (which is not bad, of course, but has been done so many times!)
While I'm not of black/brown origin myself, my family and culture does share a lot of space with people from these backgrounds, so I am privy to knowledge about the orishas, for example, and I was blown away with how much respect and attention to detail you gave to audiences to stew on.
And of course, Annette, as a character, is the challenge we need for Western audiences and animation fans globally. People can disagree about HOW she was put in the story (original character vs. rebrand of an existing one), but people SHOULD respect that a black girl in a fantasy of this caliber is just as deserving to have a presence. And I take joy in seeing discreet racists get upset at a character who embodies an entirely different world than most people are used to.
I'm hoping that a Season 3 is greenlit, with more opportunity and expand on the Mephistopheles origins, and hopefully you can try to expand even more on spiritual mythos, exploring spiritual lore from other regions across the world. I'd love to see character or creature expansions from other parts of Europe not well known, from various regions in Asia, and even more details on Meso-American and Indigenous gods and entities.
I support this show, and am doing my part to spread the word so others can see this beautiful world come to life.
Thank you again, for your tireless work, your research into respecting and giving platform to these cultures which have been pushed down in the books of history.
