I've been travelling without my laptop for a while and now want to get on with some work. I left the laptop wrapped ready for sending with a friend in the UK with the idea they can send it by DHL or similar. I'll be in Italy, Croatia or nearby.
What I forgot is that most countries charged 20%+ customs fees on the value. It's an M2 Mac so I guess I am looking at €200 or so.
Has anyone found a better way to do this? Can I claim the fees back if I re-export?
Any advice welcome. I can fly somewhere else, but I was hoping not to have to go to the UK to pick it up.

I have a late 2015 iMac 3.1GHz Quad Core intel Core i5 , 8GB DDR3 with 1tb. I cheked the activty while using garageband and im using 4 to 5 gb of 8....is this enough to make garageband not want to function? it plays and records tracks BUT if i scroll side to side in the tracks whatever isnt showing ont he screen gets all chopped up and missing when i scroll back to see it. only after i click the track head will that full recording track show and each track has to be clicked on again to see it . BUT as soon as i scroll over side to side they get all messed up again anything off screen gets chopped up and missing visual...but plays still essential making editing a nightmare.
Now my mac is showing an update for Monterey 12.7.6 available...will this update likely make my problems worse or better if i follow along with another OS update ? I have 1/2 a TB storage available and liek i said only use about half my RAM typically....I dont know much about mac I grew up on windows and even still Im not big into software and compatibility and keeping up on all these updates and forces obcelecne is such a scam. my 9 year old iMac was working fine and faster before i updated to mojave so will going further to monterey12.7.6 help me or screw me in the gorund? looking for insites i know its a crap shoot.

I've used revanced and revanced ext for years now without problems. Just got a new phone (Galaxy S 21 Ultra) and now I lose control of adjusting brightness on app as well as when app is closed. It shows the swipe controls adjusting but it doesn't actually change anything. And when not in the app or not in full screen, my default brightness slider shows it adjusting but nothing changes on brightness. I've tried with revanced manager, without revanced manager, with revanced, with revanced ext. Does the same thing each time. Even force stopping all associated apps doesn't work. I have to uninstall all revanced apps and restart my phone, then my default slider works again. I've tried every configuration of revanced brightness settings too. Any tips?

Hi! I'm trying to decide what to get for my 4.5 year old that wants to learn how to read. She already knows most of her letter sounds. The only ones she doesn't are the ones with multiple sounds, she just knows one sound per letter. Anyway, I watched a video comparing Pinwheels, AAR, and LOE and kind of ruled out LOE because I'm not sure if my kid learns best logically. I am leaning towards Pinwheels bc she's active and it seems like there are a lot of different ideas and extra resources but I hate that it's all PDFs and I need to assemble it myself and it seems like a lot of moving parts to keep organized. I have ADHD AND a two year old daughter that's also going to causing chaos and I'm concerned that it will be overwhelming with all the parts of Pinwheel. I liked that ALL About Reading is neat, visually easy to follow, and open and go, but worry that it might be a bit too bare bones with not enough to do?
TLDR
If you used Pinwheels, did you find it to be overwhelming and too many moving parts?
If you used All About Reading, did you find it to be comprehensive enough with enough for your child to practice or did you find yourself buying supplemental materials?

I’ve been watching some of the archived WSOP ME coverage recently and have been rethinking my approach to all ins in the early levels of MTTs, especially deep stack ones.
i.e starting stacks around 150 BB. You have KK or AA, somebody opens, you 3bet, and they 4bet. Could it be better strategy longterm to flat rather than shoving? or is it better to shove because you’re likely to win the flip and be in a good position for a deep run? I’ve been playing the latter way but am curious about what others think
