I wish you could customize the appearance of Tenno spectres, I wish this for one very, very specific reason, I would love to have my spectre be my Hex love interest (aka wearing the gemini skin) so I can both have them with me, fighting alongside me and hearing their dialogue whilst also being able to use a different warframe.
For example I love Dante and would love to play as him whilst also having Eleanor be present.

2025.01.18 19:02 SageOfCats The Army needs to ditch historic housing and be more flexible assigning housing
Got my assignment notification for Joint Base San Antonio this week and called up the housing office to see what wait times were like. After taking my rank and number of dependents down they said I qualified for a 3 bedroom stand alone in historic housing. I’ve lived in historic housing before, and my wife is adamant that she does not want to do that again.
So I made that clear and asked about non-historic housing in the same neighborhood listed on their website and was told those are duplexes so they wouldn’t want to put me there. My next question was whether they could put me in a three bedroom non-historic house in another neighborhood where they typically put people one rank below me, but that’s a no go because I “don’t qualify” for that neighborhood.
I’m still going to apply when I get orders and try to fight for what I want because after a couple of years of commuting I value the convenience of living near work, but if they offer me historic housing I plan to refuse and live off post. What’s crazy is that if I was a DA civilian they’d happily let me live in that neighborhood. I’m trying to give you my money, quit making it harder on me.
The reviews and testimonials I’ve seen of the historical housing make it pretty clear that I’d likely be dealing with a poorly air-conditioned black mold factory with lead pipes and rodent roommates. At some point the Army needs to give up on maintaining a frontier post aesthetic and actually offer people modern housing. I understand keeping a place like the Fort Sill CG’s house where something of historic importance happened or the housing on Leavenworth since it’s haunted and we don’t want to piss off the ghosts, but otherwise tear it down and replace it. Just being old doesn’t make it valuable. You might actually get more people wanting to live on post.
Since we’re talking rats, black mold, and lead I guess I’ll have a Crunchwrap Supreme and a Baja Blast.

He estado leyendo en muchos foros los comentarios de extranjeros de este tipo que están viniendo al país (principalmente a Medellín y hasta cierto punto a Cartagena).
Por un lado, vienen con un ingreso sustancial e inflan las propiedades y los precios para los locales.
Por otro, muchos buscan artimañas para evadir impuestos/ hacerse a beneficios tributarios.
Al final del día, es muy poco lo que le dejan a la economía: están produciendo riqueza para otro país (o no están produciendo), no pagan suficientes impuestos, contribuyen muy poco a la economía local más allá de lo que los locales contribuyen, explotan su condición asimétricamente (nosotros no podemos ir a sus países como nómadas digitales ni jubilados), suben precios y desplazan locales.
No le veo nada de valioso a estas visas (ojo: estas son distintas de aquellos que vienen a emprender, etc.). Creo fuertemente que deberían ser suspendidas por el gobierno/ Migración Colombia.
¿Qué opinan?

More so a statement from my wife stating what's she's experienced/witnessed with my sleep apnea over the years. Going back to when we were dating.The statement would be notarized.

I'm 18 years old male 173cm tall and currently weight 93.9 l started at 100.1 around month and a half ago and I'm eating 1700 calories a day but last week l also started working out I go to the gym 3-4 times a week doing 20-25 minutes of cardio on a treadmill and then some weight training but on a days I go to the gym I started getting headaches and feeling weak should I increase my calorie intake? And by how much? My Apple Watch says on a days I don't go the gym my total calories burnt is around 2300-2400 on a days I go to the gym it shows 2900-3000 calories total burnt

Okey so right now one of my main concerns is getting an american degree to be able to escape my country. See, I was born in the 🇺🇸 but because life is weird I was raised in Mexico. A year ago I finished my bachelor’s in electrical and Mechanical Engineering. I did good. 3.8 GPA, 6 months of full time research experience in humanoid robotics, drones and LED’s. 91 TOEFL iBT. Recommendation letters. Exchange abroad to a top research european university. Internships at the most prominent research center in my country.
That’s why I applied to PhD’s at the 🇺🇸. Mainly aerospace and mechanical. I’m afraid I won’t get in because of competition. Many people I know, who were mexican engineers, told me that no matter which university, If your degree is not american, bye-bye to employment. Maybe McDonalds.
There’s a master’s in my country. Electro-optical engineering. It’s fully funded and it’s doble-titled with University of Dayton. It’s competitive but I guess less than a Fully Funded PhD as a foreign student. I want to escape Mexico because here R&D is almost nonexistent. Usually engineers work 6 days a week, in factories, doing maintainance, production, quality, with night shifts for a miserable wage.
Dayton university says their graduates at this program make 100k a year and work at national labs, companies and even military bases. That’s a dream to me. Nonetheless, optical Engineering is not my dream career path. Astronautics, control Engineering and nuclear are. Could I get into a PhD at this areas with a master’s from optoelectronics from Dayton? Not sure how the american educational system works. Working in the optics area in the 🇺🇸 would be a dream compared to life as a mexican engineer, but still I want to know If I could follow my true passions.
