I'd like to know if anyone else has gone through something similar. I've spent 6 years on a degree I dislike and I don't know how to go about from here.
My degree normally takes 5 years to complete, because it has an intergrated masters and although I should have graduated last year, I still have almost half the courses left to pass before I graduate. The reason for that is that I was working full time in previous years but mostly because I don't enjoy what I'm studying and don't plan on working on this field.
I realise I've made a mistake with my degree because I didn't switch earlier and I've thought about switching degrees now to something I like better and could see myself doing in the future, but I've applied for the erasmus exchange program, and I'm supposed to be leaving for a semester in March to study abroad.
My friends and family are telling me to go on erasmus because it's a once in a lifetime experience and I don't know if I will ever have this opportunity again in the future if I were to switch degrees. However, I fear that going on erasmus would make me regret spending even more time on a degree I don't like. I've thought about cancelling erasmus last minute and switching degrees, but that's a big decision to make.
Those of you who have gone through something similar in the past, or just simply didn't like your degree, what did you do and how did things turn out for you?

I paint a polypropylene case and leave it at a 70f(21c) environment 5 days ago, and it's still not dry to touch. Most of the drying seem to be done overnight but it stays half dry half wet since then.

So I had this idea of doing a tattoo of a fox mask based on a character I was writing, but then I remembered kitsune exists. Would it be wrong to get it? Even if I made it look as much like a generic fox and not a kitsune as possible?
(For that matter should I change my story to not include a fox mask either?)
I just don’t want to cause any cultural appropriation or anything like that.

Hey guys. I need help.
I recently watched Chems Video about cope equipment and now have an existential crisis about what equip to take on rino.
At the moment I am running Vents (improved slot), Vert stabs and accuracy improvement system (the new experimental gear).
I want to have good gun handeling while also retaining good accuracy. This is because I want the tank to have a good "hit and retreat" tactic on ridges and cornors as it's armor only holds up against enemies that cannot aim at you for long and focus your weakspot. (I'm trying to force enemies to snapshot my horn instead of being able to aim for it for long enough to be an easy pen)
But now I am in a dilemma. The setup I am using gives me god accuracy (0.26) with also very good aimtime (1.6) on a heavy. But the dispersion factors are somewhat lackluster (moving=0.22, travers=0.24, and turret=0.1)
I feel like I can do better if I swap out any gear but I don't know how I can achieve better stats without sacrificing crucial aspects that should not be sacrificed.
So that is why I turn to you reddit community and more specifically anyone with a lot of experience with rino in particular.
I appreciate every help I can get.

I thought they always used fake body armor like film production prop armor for there vest till in that episode I noticed on Bradford his vest had the “SafeLife” logo on it which is a known body armor company. I’m an armed guard and I’ve seen there vests because I own one. Did they actually buy $700 real vests for each of there actors?

If you have never heard of lossless scaling, then it should be something you should get. First off, my fps in rust has always been bad, lately been better but still not great in busy areas 60-80 fps but fluctuates a lot and isnt very stable. Lossless scaling is an app on steam for cheap or (find it online) that allows any game yes ANY game to have a type of DLSS and Frame generation, no matter what graphics card you have. Some games will have alot of input delay therefore mostly multiplayer fps games you dont really want frame gen, but after testing rust i get no input delay at all while i get 144fps. This is the smoothest i have ever been able to play rust. I urge anyone who gets low fps and wants more to get this. Disclaimer if your below 60fps frame gen won't help as the lower fps the more input delay you will have. haven't tried it but in cyberpunk its like that, if im on 40fps and turn on frame gen i may be on 70-80 but the delay is really bad. If you get good fps, you will still benefit from this and get even more.
Please watch a tutorial on how to setup the frame gen on a game as you have to play it in windowed/borderless so you dont mess it up. I also use an app such as borderless windowed to make the game borderless as rust doesn't have it.

Just got rid of my giant gray dining table and I'm hoping for a smaller (40" or so) wooden round table in the space: https://imgur.com/a/eUCUAjR (pic 1 is the space for the table, pic 2 is the gray table I just sold, pic 3 is the lighter wood table that was in the home before, pic 4 is my living room as a whole)
I've been at odds with the very orange tinged floor but I love real wood furniture-just can't decide what kind to get:
- Darker wood like walnut or lighter blonde wood (like pic 3)?
- Dark wood
- Dark wood
- Love this one but I'm worried the more rustic style could clash with the more midcentury vibes of the living room (pic 4)
- Light wood
- I could also do a totally white table but I run into the issue of white tables in this price range being flimsy MDF wood or marble, which feels too high maintenance to clean. All black is another option?
- Also very open to getting new chairs or any other suggestions for the space! Added photos of past dining tables + the space as a whole for context
- Side question: toying with changing the orange couch to a green one and changing the curtains to something more like green. Would that blend too much with the navy couch?

TLDR: What’s your favorite tactical combat fantasy RPG that you think needs more recognition?
Howdy, I hope you’re all doing well. I run a lot of different RPGs for a lot of different groups of people who have a lot of different opinions on what RPGs should focus on. When I’m starting a new campaign I usually ask, “do you guys want to focus on narrative, problem solving, or combat?” I have a pretty good repertoire of systems for each of those categories except for tactical combat. Forged in the Dark and PBTA for narrative games, OSR for creative problem solving, but Cyberpunk Red is my one and only go to for focusing on combat. Obviously there’s overlap, but you know what I mean. I personally love how combat plays in OSNSR games (His Majesty the Worm rocks), but some players just really love grids and crunch. Cyberpunk rocks but one of my favorite players has a strong preference for fantasy.
I’ve had my fill of 5e and have no desire to run or play it again. I have a great time playing Pathfinder, but it’s definitely not a game I would want to be the Gamemaster for. D&D 4e sounds too bloated from what I’ve heard, but I’ve also never looked into it deeply so I could be convinced. Those games also suffer from hit point bloat, which I’m not a big fan of. The faster and deadlier, the better.

Hello, I was wondering if someone could please help me because Ive tried so many things.
I have a ddj 200 and a MacBook air, I use rekordbox and usually just mix for fun and use the MacBook speakers to listen. My problem is that Im trying to use my wired apple earbuds (the basic ones (3.5mm jack, that used to come with phones) as my device to mix. Is it possible? and if so how would I set up rekordbox/my MacBook in order for my audio to play through my MacBook speakers but hear my transitions through my earbuds without a splitter cable, since I don't have a speaker I can plug into.
Please help, thank you!
