She (28F) sent me (29F) text messages that describe an emotional stressor she is going through, & then us trying to make plans to talk more about it in person. The only other time she has behaved this way towards me was 8 years ago when she was on drugs, so I’m very concerned. I’m debating reaching out to her family bc I am honestly really concerned.
For reference, the difficult time I was going through was 2 sudden deaths in my immediate family, so I was grieving. Also, I usually don’t respond to texts until the next day since I work nights, & she works a normal 9-5pm. It’s never 3-5 business days or a week, but within 2 consecutive days at most that I text back, depending on my sleep schedule.

hey everyone!
i am surprising my fiancé with a trip to St Martin for a week in February for her birthday. it will be our first time on the island and her first time leaving the US. we have always planned on eloping somewhere or doing a small/cheap/impromptu ceremony and hitting the courthouse back home when we return for the legal marriage.
anyone know of any wedding chappels or similar that could work for something like this? we aren’t particularly religious but would also totally be down for a church.
only other idea was hiring a photographer and just reading vows somewhere scenic.
any recommendations / guidance / experience is appreciated. thanks!

It arrived in perfect condition and I'm so grateful to have it in my collection. My only real (small) complaint is that zoetropes can't be seen with the bare eye, so I have to always keep my camera on it if I want to see anything fun. The 12-inch vinyl also came in a plastic sleeve that kinda gets stuck to it 😅 so I'll probably replace that.

Hi all , new member here, me and my wife have been looking at getting an ultralight set up for camping for a while now so we can summit camp and camp mid way on long hikes. I think I've decided on our tent and matt but I'm really struggling with quilts. So we're both side sleepers so thought 2 quilts would be best , however I'm 6 foot 4 and we have a small dog. Would the dog wreck a down quilt walking over it ? If so we either need budget versions or ones with a higher denier 🤔🤷 any ideas, recommendations please?

Hello I am working on making a pouch for a light meter and I'm using 500D Cordura with some EVA foam as an inner layer of padding and this polartec 100 weight fleece stuff as a lining. I am having some problems figuring out how to not have these little holes at the corner where the seam that is on the inside turns out to connect to the rear panel.
Those little holes bug me and look bad. How can I construct this in a better way so I won't have the holes? I am guessing it's mainly a function of the way I decided to try and build it with the edge tape. Is it even possible to do something like that well? What is this kind of corner even called?
Pictures are a current finished pouch and a previous iteration without the edge tape.
Forgive my lack of proper terms and thanks for any suggestions.
