Blue on is Warne extended, gives +1 to ver the original (so 18 rounds) Black on the right Arredondo +5 (but as of is actually +1, it gives a net +4 or 21 rounds in the mag) Black on the left is strike industries EMP +6 which comes with a spring and gives a net +5 for 22 in the mag For the warne the factory spring was fine. Had to stretch the spring a little for the Arredondo. The EMP came with a spring but I had to stretch it to get reliable slide lock. I have been writing stories for a while now. For the first period of my writing career, I was very sad and down on life. I didn’t have much going for me. During this time, I believe my best storytelling was done. I even reread this work and think, "How did I think of that?"
Now, I am happier. I have a great life, a great girlfriend, and the things that used to make me sad are things I can deal with now. However, I feel this has had an effect on my writing.
When I was sad, I would sit up all night, unable to sleep because I was thinking about my stories (and my sadness). Now, I feel that flow of ideas no longer happens—I sit down to write and struggle.
In some way, I stupidly resent my happiness because of its effect on my writing.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? And if so, how do you deal with it?

2025.01.18 23:00 kctan12 Da Han (大寒) Solar Term – Diet and General Wellness Guidelines (20 Jan to 02 Feb 2025)
We will be into the Da Han (大寒) solar term (节气) starting from 20 Jan to 2 Feb 2025. Da Han is the 24th solar term (the last) out of the entire 24.
After this solar term, we will start all over again from the Spring season!
Although Da Han is not the coldest solar term (traditionally), it is still cold/cooling as compared to other solar terms.
As the saying goes “大寒大寒，防风御寒” — this means that we should protect ourselves from the cold weather as well as chilly winds during this period.
As Da Han starts to bring in stronger and colder winds, people with Qi deficiency or Yang deficiency body type may feel weak or uncomfortable if they do not dress warmly enough to shield themselves from the cold and wind.
During this Da Han solar term, our dietary approach should be following the direction of 保阴潜阳. This means to nourish the Yin energy in our body to maintain a balance with the Yang energy.
The following foods are especially suitable to be consumed during this solar term:
Goji Berries – Not only can Goji berries strengthen the kidneys, they can also help to strengthen the liver. From the TCM perspective, the liver affects one’s eyesight, thus goji berries have been proven to help strengthen and protect eyes from weakening and diseases. Goji berries are one of the best foods/herbs to nourish Yin.
Black Beans – Black beans are an ideal food for people with weak kidneys and spleen. They have the additional benefits of dispersing blood clots and improving blood circulation. It can be added to rice or any soup (especially soups that enhance blood circulation).
Chinese Chestnut – Known as 栗子, it not only strengthens kidney Qi, but also helps to strengthen the spleen. Nowadays there are Chinese chestnut snacks available that you can consume straight from the packaging.
Walnuts – Da Han is one of the best solar terms to consume walnuts. It helps to boost kidney Qi, as well as relieve back pain and knee pain. Walnuts are easily available and can be consumed as snacks.
One Of The Best Solar Terms To Eat Porridge Da Han is one of the best solar terms to enjoy porridge and the following is a simple Chinese Chestnut porridge recipe that you can try at home:
Ingredients (for 2 pax):
- Dried longan (10g)
- Red dates (3 to 5 pcs)
- Chinese chestnut (100g)
- Rice – feel free to add some mixed grains too (1 cup)
- Wash and rinse the dried longan.
- Remove the red dates seeds and cut the red dates into small slices.
- Wash the rice and bring it to boil. Note: You will need quite a bit of water here because we are cooking porridge. For me, I add as many as up to 6 cups of water to 1 cup of rice.
- Once the rice starts to boil, put in dried longan, red dates and chinese chestnut (I use those instant snacks kind so it needs minimum cooking). Wait till it boils again then bring the fire to smallest and let it simmer for 15 to 20 mins. Then it is ready to eat!
- As I am using thermal pot, I only let it simmer over the fire for 4 mins, then I’ll remove it from heat. I then place the inner pot into the thermal pot and let it sit for one hour before consuming. I find that using thermal pot is very gas efficient (instead of having to simmer over fire for 15 to 20 mins), and it does not require any electricity or fire to work!
If the morning is sunny, then it is a good chance to go jogging or brisk walking. This will liven your mood and spirits as well.
Remember to keep yourself warm especially if you know you will be heading outdoors or to colder places.

So I was given some advice from one of the attendings at my hospital to have physicians that I've worked with email PDs basically advocating for me during these last few weeks before ROL is due. Not a long email at all but just a bit of a blurb about why they thing I would be a good fit for their program. Does anyone have experience with this or know more or less a good format to follow for the email? I plan on drafting one just to make it easier for them to use if they want.

 | Hello, I have messed something up with NetPass resulting in an Error 5 with in the app. I didn’t thought much of it and launched MiiPlaza. But it would though me to this error. After that I started tomodatchi life wich also had a similar problem of not starting. Now instead of opening up more apps I deactivated all streetpass in the settings for all games. So now everything works aside from these two games. This let me to believe that there was a specific corrupted encounter now loaded into these two games preventing me from playing them. Is it possible to Delete specific encounters? I would even be ok with deleting all encounters made within the last month. Hi everyone - 2016 A Class, with poor remote central locking. Car will only lock remotely when fob is very close to car (less than 2 feet). New batteries in both keys and both keys exhibit the same poor performance.
Car has had a new main battery, as this was end of life. But I keep reading about a 2nd ‘auxiliary’ battery. Is this Aux battery responsible for central locking and potentially causing issues?
Car has no other faults - apart from the engine start button doesn’t work, and we’re required to insert key into dash to start.

H: 5'6.5 W: 165lbs Body Composition: No real extra muscle or anything, the weight is definitely mainly just excess fat around my mid-section/arms
Medical conditions: T1D with Insulin resistance
Basically title, all of the BMI calculator mention increased risk of cardiovascular disease etc. however I walk lots, eat my fibre etc. Does the extra 5-15lbs actually make any difference? Should I be doing the extra work to lose and keep of that small amount of weight at the risk of my mental wellbeing (I love food but already moderate it to a level I feel content with)

Hi all, I am (27 f) and have been married to my husband (28 m) of 10 years. We are married with two kids already and another one on the way due in March. I am a pharmacist intern completing my PharmD and he is a stay at home dad finishing his biology degree online.
I have decided after this one I no longer wish to become pregnant and would like a permanent solution. Getting my tubes cut and tied off was presented to me by my OBGYN and I was in agreement with her that it sounded like the best course of action.
However, my husband is not "comfortable" with me having a major surgery. I was dumbfounded by this as I have already had a C-Section with our second child and that was a major surgery as well as 4th degree tearing with our first child that required some major stitches.
The last few weeks after the appointment have made me feel stuck in a position where if I get my tubes tied and they tell him about it this is possibly a marriage ending situation. But if I don't tell him and he asks me about it I may be pressured into telling him the truth as much as I may try to hide it which will upset him even more.
AITAH for not wanting to tell him at all and getting it done during my C-Section? I feel in very little control of my body now and overruled.

I, for one, have been hoping for this series to get picked up and animated. I like the story and characters. It is one of my top manga to read and suggest to others looking for a good manga to start. Hey, im upgrading my tank soon to a 35 liter. Right now i have a 23 liter tank with just shrimp.
In the 35 liter tank i would love to add some Otocinclus and chili rasboras additionaly to my shrimps. Im struggling to find the right balance of fish amount.
Internet says Otocinclus should be kept in a group of atleast 5. However i watch a lot of MJ Aquascaping on youtube. And he always puts only 2 Otocinclus in each of his tanks as a cleanup crew. And they seem to be doing fine.
Ideally i would like to add 2/3 Otocinclus and like 7/8 Chili Rasboras in my 35L.
I also asked chatgpt on its suggestion, and it told me 5 Otocinclus and 8/10 rasboras would be fine for a 35L including shrimp.
What are your thoughts on the amount of stocking?
