I’m starting to look for a new car and have pretty much narrowed it down to the Pro4x. Has anyone bought one recently? Did they come Down on the price any? I know the big 3 have a glut of trucks on lots but Nissan production seems lower, maybe because of the potential merger. The last two new vehicles I’ve bought I had an OTD price that I use to negotiate. One the dealer best it by 5k before I asked because sales were so slow. The other I went back and forth on a couple times and one dealer took it. Just wondering what the climate is in Nissan dealers right now.

I was talking to a former coworker of mine today and she was telling me that at her current job she’s under investigation due to her being sexually harassed at work. Apparently an older dude who’s married with a wife and kids, sexually assaulted her at work and has done so to 3 other girls who work there. So she reported him but the company have done nothing and he hasn’t even been suspended or anything, and nothing happened as a result any of the other reports either.
Why do most companies not give a shit about stuff like this

Strangely I didn't find one by searching on Amazon or Google.
What I found are either in-ear, wired audio cable, without adaptive noise cancelling,
or in-ear, bluetooth (no audio cable), adaptive noise cancelling.
The reason I prefer to have a detachable audio cable, is it will be much more convenient if I forget to charge the headphone, and reduce potential effects of bluetooth when I don't really need bluetooth in many situations such as at home lying on the sofa listening to a podcast.

2025.01.18 23:50 OrphicNinja Could Y70 Touch cause BSOD?
A few weeks a go, I built a PC In the Y70 Touch. Using all new parts other than GPU and PSU. Booted into window, temps seem fine. But after a few minutes, it blue screens. Tried updating bios and reinstalling win11, still bsod. Upgraded the PSU to Corsair RM1000E but still bsod. Then tried returning the motherboard, cpu and ram and replaced all with new parts and even upgraded the CPU, RAM and GPU but it still blue screens. At this point every part of the build has been replaced other than the case which makes me think it's an issue caused by the case. Is it possible that the case can cause BSOD Critical Process Died error?

Okay, so right now I am working on a book where a main plot point is the MC's memory loss. I know this is a trope that a lot of people hate but I think I've made it somewhat okay. Basically the MC wakes up in a world that's the opposite to earth and she has lost all her memories (Its a horrodystopian/action book) she knows she worked for this organisation based on her I.D and has some flashbacks to her past and then she meets another character that teaches her about her past and the world they've been thrown in (Also important to note everyone in the organisation has powers and all powered people are forced to work in this military organisation despite the fact that powered people being rare and unknown to the general public) . The MC learns she was a sergeant in this organisation and the night of her memory loss her squad went on a mission to an unresponsive base and her squad could still be out here. Eventually she meets up with a few other members of the organisation and has some more flashbacks. Here comes the part which is the reason for the memory loss, one of her old squad mates has the power to heal people by eliminating the events they got injured in from their personal timeline so they don't remember anything after they got healed. The squad mate had been working on necromancy and it worked on the MC, that's why she cant remember anything but the flashbacks are there because her power is so strong that it fought the memory loss of sorts. I'm just wondering if this is another somewhat annoying instance of the memory loss trope or if it still seems decently interesting? Any advice would be appreciated, this is my first book!

So ngl I (M20) havnt been the most confident for alot of my life, a couple of reasons for that being that I am overweight and have a stutter disorder.
I believe this has hurt me when trying to build friendships and is the reason ive never been in a relationship (and I beliveits stopped me from doing alot of things).
I also belive that maybe my confidence is the reason I fear stuff that I shouldn't like social interactions, hanging out with fiends, and trying new things that I want to like aging rec sports/pick up
I really want to start being confident though and start doing the things I want to do like make more friends/get a gf, do things to socialize, and get out and just have fun and quit being scared and unconfident
I understand that confidence is built, but I have also heard it's good to fake it till you make it. So I was wondering if you all could help me figure out, how can I build confidence? or for right now how can I fake my confidence? What is being confident?
