I’ve noticed I’m more irritated than usual since starting. I’m not angry like I’ve seen some people say it makes them, just more of feeling annoyed by things. Does this go away with time? As far as I know, there is a student discount of 10k. I need to find someone for that. There is a card discount of 4k. Both cannot be combined.

So I'll preface by saying I have spent the past 19 years of my life with relatively little exposure to sonic, I know most of the characters and stuff, but never really played the games, got a random itch to give em a try
Loaded up sonic forever
It gets so hard so fast, I don't know what I expected, but it was insane
I don't know how you can cram so much bullshit into such a small game, everything past green Hill zone had me practically tearing my hair out
I cannot imagine a world where a child in the 90s, beat this game genuinely
It took me two hours and 20 minutes with saves. The final boss took like 30 minutes of that, how did people do it with only 3 lives?!
So many one hit kills, traps, walls and floors that move at the last second, wonky hit boxes (looking at you final stage plasma balls)
It would be soul destroying to get through all that bullshit, get to the egg crusher and then die cuz you miss judged a plasma ball thingy by like a millimeter
Other than that, god this game is so charming, I see why you all love it so much, the music and visuals are simply something else, there's a reason green hill zone is as iconic as it is!
Looking forward to the second one!!

2025.01.19 00:09 zimmystor Been trying to find a way to make dubtubs sturdier
I’ve been doing 3-D printing for the past couple of years, but I’ve recently started getting into the modeling aspect of it, and also got into mycology recently as well. I searched for files online and found that people made a couple but nothing like what I was looking for. One was just a literal c shaped clip that would no doubt be a bitch to fiddle with and probably breaks easily. Another took up the whole bed space and required the print be printed twice so it covers the whole rim of the bin. So much wasted plastic and so much time to print, so I came up with these. They just need to be hot glued underneath the rim of the tubs. The tubs can still be stacked for storage, the lids mostly fit on the part with the peg, so I’d recommend using that as the bottom bin. all the files are available on printables.
Currently, these are not universal pieces as all bins are made different. So currently that two bins that this works for are the sterilite 6 quart shoeboxes and the shoebox 5.2 quart from Dollar tree. I have multiple different types of bins so I’ll probably update the page regularly.
Only two sets are needed per bin but add as many as you like. There’s ridges underneath the lips of the tubs, add your hot glue there and slide the piece on against the ridge. This will negate having to line them up on each bin. Just make sure that the clips are level with the ground so they slide into each other. You can add more hot glue after for support but it’s pretty sturdy as is. I just put up two new files for the sterilite bins. To be used on the ends, they’re smaller and have a groove they fits right in.

It takes me a while to see things sometimes. My tech isn't the best and I'm at a severe awareness disadvantage. 😂 But I just stumbled across a lot of things today and I wanted to say, before I leave for a bit...
Knowing someone has been willing to advocate for me, to stand up for me, especially during some of these recent darkest moments of my life, means more than I can explain. It's been very hard at times in the past couple years, but to then have to go through it all over again... Honestly, it's helped me get through things I don't think I could have otherwise.
It's funny how you see me so clearly, even now, after all this time, when I have no idea what your current situation even looks like at all nor how you've grown. I won't assume I know anything, but I'm proud of you for this. I won't read into things too much though lol; just know I appreciate you. It's good to know that you care, or at the very least you care about injustice. 😅 Ironically.
You have this way with words that’s becoming more and more impressive and at a shockingly rapid pace. You don’t just say things; you capture them. You take all these overwhelming emotions—beauty, pain, love, agony, terror—and turn them into something that feels alive. You distill and refine and you bottle their essence to display for everybody to see. Sometimes it feels like you’re speaking a language I can’t fully understand but I immediately intuitively know I need to hear. You help me order my thoughts.
It’s honestly inspiring. And it’s not just the words themselves; it’s the fact that you care enough to put them out there for me at all. That kind of thoughtfulness isn’t something I expected for lil ol' me. 😔
