I am a 27 y/o E-5 in the Army, and in January 2024 I unofficially started a side business involving private investment. I had a net profit of about $400,000 in 2024. So far in January 2025 the business has a net profit of around $80,000. It’s been a great month, but I’m projecting my profits will cool down and possibly finish around $350,000 for the year. Assuming my projections are accurate, this seems excessive for the military. I emailed my security manager to report my income, but he never replied to me and seems uninterested in talking about my side business, so I haven’t reported it. If it adds substance, I have a TS/SCI clearance and work in a somewhat sensitive line of work. Not sure if this affects anything.
I am content with my Army job, but I do have dreams of scaling up my business or diversifying into real estate, etc. how many years would this side business need to prove profitable before I get the boot or have the option to voluntarily boot myself?

i accidentaly burned my finger on a very hot pan 4 days ago and had it under running water for at least 30 minutes. the pain stopped after maybe two hours and it turned white. right now it doesn’t hurt at all and i feel like i have no feeling there. and it doesn’t feel like there is any fluid trapped. should i keep it moist and leave it be, or should i maybe get it checked out? (btw: i have diabetes)

I am a new CNA at a nursing home and just finished my first shift today. I am trying to follow the facility policy regarding patient transfers, but for the patients that require 2 staff members, no one is willing to help me. I was told during training that the EZ stand and Hoyer should never be operated alone, but almost all of my residents require them and there just aren’t enough staff members to help me with all my residents. Does this sound like a toxic work environment or is this normal for long term care? Would taking to management about it even do anything?

Hi everyone, (sorry it's long but I'm tired of my useless doctors :( )
I've been on birth control for almost 10 years. It’s helped regulate my periods, but over the past two years, I’ve noticed that it’s started affecting my mental health. I also took topiramate for a while, which seemed to worsen things, and since then, my hormones have been all over the place.
I’ve decided to stop the pill for 6 months to see if it improves my mental and physical health. However, I’m worried I might lose my period again. Before I started the pill, my cycles were very irregular—sometimes disappearing for over 6 months or even a whole year. Could this increase my risk of ovarian cancer?
Another issue I have is extremely painful cramps before, during, and after my period. Sometimes the pain is so bad I can’t move. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be PMDD or something else not pcos related? What painkillers or remedies work best for you to manage the cramps?
I’d also love to hear about natural ways to manage PCOS symptoms and regulate periods without birth control. Have any of you had success with lifestyle changes, supplements, or natural remedies?
I’ve been on spironolactone as well, but I’ve paused it for now due to another illness (I’m on a lot of antibiotics). I’m considering stopping all medications for at least a year to give my body a break and detox.
Any advice on natural methods or ways to manage PCOS symptoms like hormonal imbalance, painful periods, acne, or hair growth would be so appreciated. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences!

Rifle: 8.3” Gen 1 Galil ACE (suppressed)
MV 5 round average: 12.6gr 850.4 FPS 13gr 911.5 FPS (Brass and primer do not show any overpressure signs so far)
So TLDR: has anyone run into a Max Charge with the 255gr and CFE Black during their load dev?

Does anyone know how to solve this error?
I was playing on a save of mine as a Host, the game crashed and when trying to open it again this error happened, I have searched in several places but the solution to the error is to access Appdata> Pal > Saved > Savegames
but I play through Xcloud, so this Saved folder does not exist on the pc since the data is saved in the Cloud by Xcloud, I can't access the folder or the backup history in game, would anyone know how to solve it or was the world lost for good?

If you're in the DMV area, I hope everyone stays safe and warm this weekend with the coming snow!
I live in Virginia but I'm open to anywhere in the US. I get to WFH so meeting up in the future would be pretty easy but the closer is the better. I'm interested in a relationship but it takes time to build one. I hope we share some similar hobbies or are open to sharing hobbies with each other.
I do like to travel. I did a fair bit of international travel this year, so I'm planning on staying domestic in 2025. So far I have plans to go to Canada in the summer and I've been interested in going to Seattle. Delta keeps giving me hints to spend my points to go to Seattle or Boston.
I enjoy gaming. I don't have anything I'm really into right now but past games I've played have been OSRS, Warframe, Valorant, Plate up, Mario Party, all types of pokemon games, and I'm sure there is more. Always down to chat and play something!
I like to yap or talk to a yapper. Just sitting and talking is great! Whether by voice, video, or text! I really do suck at voice notes. I have a great / terrible habit of inviting people over to watch movies / play games and then we end up just talking til like 2am. So talking things out if needed is something important to me.
I like to cook, read, go outside, go to the gym, spend time with friends, go to cafes, museums, and I'm sure there is more but I can't think of them off the top of my head.
Would you rather spend the day at a botanical garden or an art museum?
