Hi everyone, my brother just started building his own pc and seems like he just ran into an issue. After installing all components, the PC is able to turn on briefly with the fans spinning and then just stopping. The RGBs on the RAM sticks however, seem to be illuminated still after the fans stop spinning. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Also, we do not have additional equipment to test components (Ex: we do not have an extra CPU laying around that we could test instead of the one already installed).
We tried ensuring cables were secured in the appropriate ports and loosened the screws that mount the motherboard to the case ever so slightly.
He also re-sat the RAM sticks and GPU - and swears they are sitting correctly after hearing the appropriate clicking sounds from the slots.
I am curious about the PSU ports on the back since it seems that PCI-e and CPU ports are interchangeable on the back of the PSU. He ensured that the cable labeled CPU is plugged into the 8 pin connection at the top left of his motherboard and is plugged into the top section of the PSU, whereas the PCI-e cable is plugged into the GPU and in the bottom section of the PSU. Can he just have both CPU and PCI-e connections on the top section of the PSU together, leaving the bottom portion empty - or should these be kept separate?

She could have been so much more but holy shit. First off, I am not convinced even the slightest bit that she wouldnt care about Silco's death. Alot of folks giving the excuse that she only cared about the cause, while thats true, wouldnt that make Silco her greatest asset then? Not only did he share her passionate desire for Zaun's independence, he is also the strongest guy to achieve that. She even expresses the fact that his death has become a massive setback as it undid everything they built for years. So she doesnt care? Really? This is already the biggest issue I have with her character cus it could have made her and Jinx's relationship so much more interesting. She already hates her for constantly screwing up and being a liability to the cause. So finding out that she killed Silco should have been the last straw. They could have done something like.....Sevika initially despises her and tries to kill her, but then sees that it aint worth it and focuses on fighting for the cause again. She then realizes that Jinx is now the best beacon for the cause cus she essentially turned into a symbol, so the two put aside their differences and become reluctant partners, something like that. I also really wanted to know what she feels about joining the council. But all we essentially got is her initially not wanting to help Piltover, then comes to help Piltover, and then sits on the council. Great. I work at a bakery part time and my boss is super strict about only working for 5 hours because she doesn't want to have to people take a lunch. I have chronic pain and mental health issues that make me take longer when I have to deal with customers, so we agreed that I would just work for 5 hours and not have to help customers so I can do my thing. When I came into work she started talking about how she wants to switch me to get paid by task and I would no longer be an employee, but a contractor baker instead. I said that I didn't agree to that and I asked why she wanted that. She said because I go over my hours a bit... like 15-30 minutes because I'm left alone to help a bunch of customers and keep baking. On top of that, I'd open and close alone. My boss wants to switch me to that, but then still cover the employees and she said she'll just switch me back to the normal payroll... even though I'm no longer technically an employee there. She's trying to force me to do this and says if I don't, that she'll let me go. That sounds whack af.
I'm wondering how I should deal with this. There's a few other things I should mention. I was very sick one day and everyone else but the owner and I were on vacation. She asked me to cover her and I said yes only because no one else was there. I did everything but 1 task that day because I felt way too bad to continue. I stayed for my 5 hour shift and kept myself busy until the owner came for the later shift, then went home. Not only did she not say thanks, but she docked me 2 hours. When I called her out on it she said that she did that because I was sick and then used my sick hours to make up those hours. I never gave her permission to do that and turns out she's been doing it for other times I was sick without my permission. I know that her docking me the 2 hours is illegal. I'm wondering about the sick hours she's used without my approval. She also doesn't follow some health department codes. I've been taking pictures and documenting as much as I can on my end because I've been told I can take legal action for the hours and some of the other stuff she's pulled on me.
Do I have any right to go to the labor board or whatever it's called? I feel like what she's doing is totally wrong and definitely trying to push me out. She even told me straight up that she only pays the operations manager a salary because she doesn't want to pay her for the hours she works. There's a lot more, but I figured that's a good starting point. Any help I'd appreciated. I used to let people walk all over me, but I'm done with that. The manager has actually been really stoked that I'm standing up for myself to the owner because the manager doesn't think it's right either.
