2025.01.19 03:54 Status-Weather95 Managing Anxiety After Leaving the NICU
My LO was born at 26+4 and is now 36w. While we’re not at the point of even talking about going home yet… when I think about going home, it honestly makes me more nervous than I feel with him in the NICU. He has BPD, and we haven’t even gotten to low enough settings on CPAP to begin practicing taking bottles yet, which I know can take a while. He had some rough patches in the beginning, but has been otherwise doing well with the exception of his lungs.
After 10 weeks in the NICU and many more to go, I feel like he’s just safer at the hospital. How do you adjust from having constant monitoring and nurses present and doctors on standby to nothing? I just want to start preparing mentally for that shift now instead of feeling overwhelmed when the time does come that we get to bring our sweet boy home with us 🩵

Hi, I am turning 22 and want to improve my financial literacy to better manage my finances, even if I don't earn much from my current internship. I was looking at the different portfolios that POSB offers and I am unsure which option would be the best if right now I can only commit 100/month (although I am still open to using more of my savings to get the ETF portfolio if it is beneficial in the long run). Is there any advice regarding which options are better?
I have also heard that applying for credit cards is good for the credit score, but since there are so many different options, I'm just not sure if it is necessary or if there is a recommended card I should get (assuming I will always try to pay off per month).
If there are any tips you guys have to share, I am keen to learn. Thanks in advance!
